Story Highlights

  • Tekken 8 Director Katsuhiro Harada has responded to a tweet, admitting that Tifa Lockhart is attractive.
  • Harada also revealed that they have yet to decide anything about guest characters for Tekken 8.
  • Tekken 7, the prequel, introduced many iconic guest characters, and Tekken 8 will likely do the same in the future.

Tekken 8 Director Katsuhiro Harada responded to a tweet asking to add “Tifa Lockhart” from Final Fantasy 7 to Tekken 8 as a guest character, saying that everyone knows she is “attractive” and he understands that. He added that as of yet, they have not decided anything about guest characters. Note that Tifa Lockhart has already appeared in a fighting game published by Bandai Namco, Ehrgeiz, which came out in 1998.

Over the years, Tifa Lockhart has also made several appearances in other games, including Kindom Hearts and Super Smash Bros. Tifa is the childhood friend of Cloud Strife, the protagonist of Final Fantasy 7, and serves as a playable character specializing in martial arts in the game. Square Enix‘s Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is set to launch on February 29, 2024, and will also feature Tifa in action, just like the original game.
