The Finals Season 2 patch notes have finally dropped after much wait. The patch brings many weapons, gadgets, specializations, a new map, and tweaks that completely alter the game as we know it. The weapons include a burst-fire assault rifle Famas, a burst-fire handgun 93R, and a slug round shotgun KS-23. On the flip side, new gadgets include an anti-gravity cube, Data Reshaper, and a portals-like ability dubbed Gateway.
The new specialization for the medium build —called Dematerializer— erases physical surfaces, like walls and ceilings. It will let players create new passageways to add a whole new depth of strategy during gameplay.
The Rogue Hacking Collective CNS Has Infiltrated The Finals
Among the most anticipated additions in the game is the new Horizon map, a hacked-theme arena that is an amalgamation of a neon-colored cityscape with glitched floating surroundings. Even the gadgets and specializations are themed accordingly to suit the lore.
The update also includes a brand-new tutorial, a new casual 5v5 mode called Power Shift, private matches, a new battle pass, improved matches, and much more. All in all, Season 2 is also loaded with improvements that tweak a bit of everything. So, we suggest checking the update out to explore every nook and cranny.
