Netflix Subscribers Can Now Play TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge On Mobile

Retro-Style brawler Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge Android and iOS port is out now.

TMNT Shredder’s Revenge is an authentic throwback side-scrolling beat ’em up game which pays homage to the turtles’ legacy. It uses pixel art, though that certainly doesn’t make it look low-budget. The animations are silky smooth, and the art direction is flawless.

The game, initially released for PCs and consoles back in 2022, can now be played on iOS and Android both. However, you must own a Netflix subscription to access the game.

                                                                            Major Takeaways.

  • Netflix subscribers can download TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge to their iOS or Android devices.
  • Up to 6 people can play the game through Netflix watch parties.

It was announced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge will be released for Android sometime in 2023, according to Netflix Games’ end-of-year wrap-up last month. But we didn’t expect it would arrive right at the start of the year.

Just like all the Netflix games, it is available for download from the Google Play Store and the App Store, but you need a Netflix account to play it.

The game lets players pick either Master Splinter, Casey Jones, April O’Neil, or one of the turtles: Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, or Michelangelo, and fight against Shredder and his Foot Clan as well as other characters from the TMNT franchise.

TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge also fits mobile devices perfectly, thanks to its classic arcade-style gameplay. It perfectly captures the magic of the side-scrolling golden age.

The touchscreen controls are solid, but for those of you who struggle to play these games on mobile devices, you can easily pair a gaming controller to your phone too. Be it a DualSense or Xbox Wireless Controller. It might make the game a bit more pleasant.

You navigate your way through the streets and sewers, battling the Foot Clan wherever they may be hidden. There are numerous combos to discover and famous characters to manipulate. You’re not simply restricted to turtles. April O’Neil, Master Splinter, and Casey Jones can also show up to the brawl.

If you like multiplayer games or remember the old arcade games, you’ll enjoy this one. The Android version of TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge supports multiplayer co-op for up to four players, so you can invite some pals along on the ride.

Overall, Netflix Games has developed a fantastic port for Smartphones that both performs and looks good, with adaptable controls ideal for both gamepad and touchscreen users.
