VR gaming has picked up a lot of pace in the past few years. More and more major franchises are releasing games for VR nowadays. We have already seen an Iron Man and Alan Wake game make its way onto the technology. PlayStation VR is one of the pioneers in this field and the sequel to their original headset, the PlayStation VR2 is coming very soon. One of the major titles launching on the PlayStation VR2 is Horizon Call of the Mountain. However, that’s not the only game coming to this next-generation headset, as another developer is making something for the PlayStation VR2.
Recently, nDreams, a studio focused on VR games, announced two upcoming projects under development, including one for the PlayStation VR2, that will be announced in the coming months. In a recent tweet, the developer gave an insight into their upcoming games. Out of the six games that nDreams was scheduled to release this year, four of them have already had a reveal from the studio but two are still upcoming. One of these games is the developer’s first next-generation game for the PlayStation VR2.
Four down, two to go… 👀
2022 has been HUGE for us already but we're not done yet! 😱 We've got two more titles to announce in the coming months, including our first next-gen VR title for PS VR2…

Just a few days ago, nDreams unveiled their upcoming action-adventure campaign for the Meta Quest 2, Ghostbusters VR. Other games in their future lineup include the manga adventure game, Sushi Ben VR, and Little Cities for the Oculus Quest. Fracked completes this lineup of the already announced games from the developer. These are only four of the six games that nDreams is scheduled to release this year.
Upcoming projects like these are very exciting, as nDreams has been developing VR games since 2013. The developer has a lot of potential and their upcoming game for the Oculus Quest just highlights that. nDreams have already worked with PlayStation, too, as Fracked is a PlayStation VR shooter which came out with good reviews. Hence, there’s every reason to be optimistic and enthusiastic about the upcoming next-generation game for the PlayStation VR 2.
No release date for the announcement or the game itself has been given by nDreams yet. All we know is that it is coming out on the PlayStation VR2 and nothing else. Hopefully, it’s sooner rather than later and we hear some more details about the game very soon.
