Nintendo Switch Exclusive Mr. Driller Encore Could Release On Xbox Soon

Former Nintendo Switch exclusive from INFINITY Co. is being sold on Microsoft Store!

In recent years, many Japanese developers have tried to revive games from the 16-bit and 32-bit arcade gaming era. Mr. Driller Encore comes as no exception! Mr. Driller DrillLand was released exclusively for the GameCube by INFINITY Co. and BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment in 2002 and was recently remastered for PC and Nintendo Switch in June 2020. Yet, there hasn’t been any news about the game’s release on the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. That is, until today!

Earlier today, u/Crusader3456 posted a new Microsoft Store listing on the r/GamingLeaksAndRumours sub-Reddit for none other than Mr. Driller Encore from BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment. The caption for the game says (translated), “Can ya dig it?! Mr. DRILLER, a simple yet addictive action puzzle game!” Under the name, it mentions that the supported platforms are the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles, and the game also supports 4K Ultra HD.
