Elden Ring Banished Knight’s Halberd +8 Location

The Banished Knight’s Halberd in Elden Ring is not the kind of weapon from which you can expect a lot. However, what some of you don’t know is that a Banished Knight’s Halberd upgraded to +8 location exists. There are three ways to get the weapon, but not all of them are efficient. 

How To Get Banished Knight’s Halberd +8 In Elden Ring

The Banished Knight’s Halberd +8 is easily one of the best weapons in the Elden Ring. It is one of my favorite early-game weapons that can help you defeat multiple types of enemies. You can Acquire this powerful Halberd during the game’s early stages, just like the Meteoric Ore Blade. 

First Method – Visit Stormveil Castle 

The first method of getting Banished Knight’s Halberd +8 is by visiting the Stormveil Castle. But before you can do that, you must first defeat Margit, the Fell Omen. After you have successfully defeated Margit, make your way to Stormveil Castle.

Once you enter the castle, you will need to find and take down Banished Knights. The annoying part is that you won’t be able to tell which one will drop the Banished Knight’s Halberd +8, so you will need to keep on eliminating them one by one until you see the drop. I personally, don’t like this method.

Second Method – Kill Edgar

The second method involves killing the NPC Edgar. For this, you will need to make your way to Castle Mourne. However, before going there, you will first need to meet Irina.

To meet her and get the weapon, follow these steps:

1. Go to the bridge that connects Limgrave to Weeping Peninsula.
2. Then, find the Site of Grace at the end of the bridge.
3. You will be able to find Irina near this Site of Grace.
4. After you talk to Irina, she will give you a letter and will ask you to give it to her father, Edgar. 
5. Now, make your way inside Castle Mourne and find Edgar.
6. I would recommend you run past all the enemies and get to the Banished Knight’s Halberd +8 location as quickly as possible.
7. Edgar is located in the upper parts of Castle Mourne.
8. After talking to him, do not give him the letter and kill him to get the desired weapon. 

Killing Edgar and getting the weapon quickly is the method I prefer, as the questline isn’t that good.

Third Method – Complete Irina’s Questline 

If you’re not in favor of killing Edgar, then you can hand him over the letter, after which you’ll need to finish the entire Irina’s questline. For this, you will need to clear Castle Mourne, which can be done by finding and defeating the Leonine Misbegotten boss. 

To find this boss, you will need to head southwest from the “Besides the Rampart Gaol” Site of Grace. As you keep on going forward, you will be able to see the golden fog wall leading to the boss arena. After you defeat the boss, you’ll receive the Grafted Blade Greatsword, which is one of the best swords in the game. 

After eliminating Leonine Misbegotten, go to the first Site of Grace of Castle Mourne, where you’ll be able to find Edgar and talk to him. Then, go back to Irina, and you will find out that she is dead, with Edgar sitting right next to her.

You will then need to visit the location marked in the image below and interact with the Site of Grace that you’ll find in this area. You will get invaded by Edgar the Revenger, and you will need to eliminate him. By doing so, you will get the Banished Knight’s Halberd.

My Experience With The Weapon

I honestly like getting the item wanted as soon as possible, so I liked killing Edgard on the point better for the weapon.

While there are three methods to acquire the weapon, the first two methods are the quickest and the easiest way of acquiring the weapon. But I had the most with the second method, which is arguably the easiest and quickest of all.
