The DioField Chronicle Release Date And Demo Date Officially Announced

Square Enix has shaped the genre of JRPGs through alluring franchises that have shaken the gaming industry. The massive Japanese studio is well-renowned for role-playing video game franchises. The goliath company has a bundle of successful IPs, including series like Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Kingdom Hearts, and Just Cause, to name a few.

The fans would be satisfied with newer iterations of these titles, but Square Enix is starting to branch out into newer IPs to keep up with innovative times. The aforementioned series are just the tip of the iceberg as Square Enix has developed/published hundreds of titles in various video game franchises since its inception. Square Enix is well-renowned for role-playing video game franchises.

Popular franchises like The Fire Emblem and Triangle Strategy come to mind when the genre of tactical RPG is brought up. The goliath company is brewing up a new IP based around this genre. The latest endeavors of Square merge modern, fantasy, and medieval worlds to brew a modern tactical RPG dubbed The DioField Chronicle.

The DioField Chronicle is an amalgamation of “Real-Time Tactical Battle,” which blends strategy elements and 2D and 3D camera angles to provide a modern strategy experience. The DioField Chronicles was first unveiled at the March 2022 State of Play. 

The game is the studio’s unique approach to tactical RPG, which is shaping to be a highly anticipated title. Two months ago, The DioField Chronicle was rated in Brazil, giving us an idea that the title was closer to an official announcement. That idea has now metamorphosed into reality as The DioField Chronicle Twitter handle has officially announced the release date and demo date.

The tweet reveals the release date, roughly translating to”‘The DioField Chronicle,’ and will be released on September 22, 2022 (Thursday). We will start accepting reservations from 7/7 (Thursday). ※ The URL to each PF store of the DL version will be announced on 7/7 (Thursday).”

Moreover, a demo will also reportedly come out a month prior. The tweet further cites, “The trial version is scheduled for August 10. Please look forward to this as well.” The demo will allow the anticipated fans to check out the game and possibly reveal hidden bugs before the official release. 

The new IP by Square Enix has a heap of hype from fans anticipating the release. The community has reacted positively to the announcement. The DioField Chronicle is coming out for PS4/PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
