Games That Came With The Most Awesome Collector’s Edition Bundles

Thor's Mjolnir has never looked this good in real life.

Story Highlights

  • For those among us who take pride in collecting stuff, certain games come out with Collector’s Editions.
  • These specific launch bundles of specific titles pack an added array of goodies and bonus items.
  • Titles such as God of War Ragnarok, Cyberpunk 2077, and Titanfall are noteworthy in this regard.

Collector’s Edition items are the stuff of dreams. At least that’s what I feel after grabbing a few of those over time, but in all my years of playing games and gathering collectibles, I’ve found that there’s a fine line between bundles that are good in quality and those that go above and beyond in delivering the ultimate collector’s experience.

I decided to put together this write-up to commemorate some of the games that come with the best Collector’s Edition bundles, ideally on launch, to celebrate their respective release. I had to choose from a number of different options, considering how high quality is in abundance, but I think I’m happy with what the final list has turned out to be.

Amazing Games, Even Better Collector’s Edition Bundles

As always, make sure to post a comment below in case you have a contribution to make to the entries outlined ahead.

1. Death Stranding

Not only is Death Stranding one heck of a game, but the Collector’s Edition it came with on launch was no slouch either, sporting an array of different items both for in-real and in-game, especially that light-up model figure that’s totally not too creepy to keep in your living room. You can still buy it for somewhere around $380 on Amazon at the moment, should you choose to indulge into the franchise ahead of its extremely anticipated sequel

2. God Of War Ragnarok

A personal favorite, God of War Ragnarok is an amazing send-off for Kratos’ Norse saga, as the former Ghost of Sparta tries to move ahead of the trauma of his past and become “better” for his sole successor, Atreus. Ragnarok’s Collector’s Edition comes with, among other fantastic items, a 16-inch replica of Mjolnir, looking like just the real thing from Asgard.

If you’re a collector, you don’t want to miss a weapon like that, sitting atop a shelf in your gaming room and looking all fancy. I’ll leave an Amazon link for the bundle if you want to go and check it out.

3. Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077

The hyped-as-hell RPG Cyberpunk 2077 got off to a bad start when it made landfall in December 2020; you could even call it an unmitigated disaster at the time, but here’s something that still impressed down to the bone—the game’s Collector’s Edition. The latter comprises a statue of V in action, trying to take aim from his crashing motorcycle, and a bunch of other awesome stuff. Certainly recommended.

This listing on Amazon is still up for grabs. Feel free to check it out, but for reference, here’s everything included in the bundle:

  • Collector’s Edition Box
  • Case With Game Disc(s)
  • Collectible SteelBook
  • 25 cm/10-inch Statue Depicting V — the Game’s Protagonist — in Action
  • Hardcover Art Book
  • Metal Pin Set
  • Quadra V Tech Metal Keychain
  • An Annotated Copy of a Visitor’s Guide to Night City Sealed in an NCPD Evidence Bag
  • Embroidered Patches
  • World Compendium Detailing the Game’s Setting and Lore
  • Postcards From Night City
  • Map of Night City
  • Sticker Bomb Set

4. Titanfall

Titanfall

Belonging to one of the best first-person shooter franchises that Respawn is somehow still sleeping on, Titanfall sent shockwaves across the industry for reasons more than one. For starters, the 18-inch tall massive Titan figure with in-built lights is one head-turning incentive, alongside the hardcover art book, and a full-size poster of the Atlas Titan.

The shooter is a treat on its own, and this fine Collector’s Edition bundle is nothing but the cherry on top. I was able to spot an Amazon product listing for the latter, but I’m not sure if it’s still available to purchase from at the time of writing.

5. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s beautiful Collector’s Edition comes with Venom and all 19 inches of him. The statue that I’m referring to doesn’t have one member only—Miles and Peter are a part of it, as the duo tries to tussle it out with the big guy. In case you’re still holding out on purchasing the game, I suggest you absolutely get to it.

Spider-Man 2 has rolled over has rolled over more than 10 million units, with overall franchise sales pushing past the 50 million mark. eXputer rated the sequel 4/5 in its review, with author Usama Mehmood calling it “a cut above its predecessor, with significantly improved gameplay and a narrative that tugs at your heartstrings.”
