As already mentioned above, Apex Legend Mobile’s Ranking system is quite unusual. It is not only different from other Battle Royale games available on mobile but is also different from its PC and console version counterparts. So before I get started on how you can Rank up fast in Apex Legends Mobile, let us shed some light on its ranking system.

Unlocking Ranked Matches

Ranked Matches in Apex Legends Mobile aren’t available from the get-go but are unlocked at a later level. To open Ranked Matches, you need to be at level  8. You’ll first have to play a couple of Battle Royale matches for leveling up, or you can go for the classic Team Death Matches to level up your character.

After you have reached Level 8 you’ll finally get access to the Ranked Matches.

Rank Rules And Requirements

There are six ranks, each with multiple sub-ranks, and you’ll need to work your way up from Iron to Apex Predator. Here’s a breakdown of the ranks and their RP (Ranked Points) requirements:

  • Bronze: Starting rank
  • Silver: 1,200 RP
  • Gold: 2,800 RP
  • Platinum: 4,800 RP
  • Diamond: 7,200 RP
  • Master: 10,000 RP
  • Apex Predator: Reserved for the top 750 players

You can earn RP through assists, kills, and match placement. Once your total assists and kills reach 6, you won’t receive more Ranked Points for eliminations. The number of RP awarded also depends on the rank of the players you eliminate, with higher-ranked opponents yielding more points.

However, even after reaching the 6-kill limit, you can still earn RP based on your match placement.

Rewards For All Ranks in Apex Legends Mobile

While pushing through rank, you get a free reward every time you move to a higher rank. The rewards rank various skins to frames. Below is a table listing all the rewards you’ll get with each rank.

Now that you have a basic understanding of how the ranking system works let’s move forward with the best tips and tricks to become the Apex Predator. On the topic of tips, consider reading How To play Apex Legends Mobile and learn the best tips and tricks to become a champion in the ring.

  1. Good Teammates: Playing with good teammates who communicate and work together is essential for success in ranked matches. Try to play with friends or players who exhibit teamwork to increase your chances of winning.
  2. Engaging and Disengaging: Know when to engage in fights and when to disengage. Assess the situation and retreat if you’re ill-equipped or at a disadvantage. Conversely, if you have an advantage, take the initiative and engage. Also, prioritize squads that are weakened from previous battles.
  3. Keep an Eye on the Enclosing Zone: Pay attention to the enclosing circle and its timer. Failing to do so can leave you vulnerable to squads waiting for you outside the safe zone. If you’re caught outside the safe zone, prioritize reaching safety over engaging in a fight.
  4. Landing on Edges: When starting a match, consider landing on the outskirts of the map. This can provide safety and ample time to gear up without the chaos of crowded central areas. Landing on the edges can also increase your chances of survival early in the game.
  5. Taking Out Bots: Look for bots or squads that behave like bots. Eliminating these targets not only guarantees you free kills but also maximizes your Rank Points earned per kill. This can be especially helpful for beginners looking to climb the ranks.

My Take On How To Quickly Rank Up

As a player who has more than 5 years of experience in FPS games, I did my homework and listed the best ways to rank up as quickly as possible in Apex Mobile. However, these are the idle scenarios that are not going to happen in every ranked match. So, I would highly recommend players to adjust according to the situation of the match.

One more tip that is highly efficient is Third Partying. If you see two teams engaging with each other, then you can use it to your advantage and take them out while they are busy fighting with each other. Some of the players might not like this idea, but it is one of my favorite things to do in Battle Royales like Apex Legends Mobile.
