Granblue Fantasy Relink: Best Zeta Build [Tried & Tested]

Learn how to make Zeta the strongest DPS character for mid to late game.

Zeta is one of the best fire element DPS characters in Granblue Fantasy Relink. Using a spear as a weapon, she can deal damage while avoiding enemy attacks as much as possible. Making the Granblue Fantasy Relink Best Zeta Build allows you to focus on the target and also deal damage at weak points that can help you collect enemy parts.

Key Takeaways
  • Zeta is a fire element character in Granblue Fantasy Relink that can be unlocked by using a Crewmate Card.
  • She has a great damage output and can also provide support
  • Weapons like Huanglong Spear or Gisla are recommended for damage.
  • Skills like Infinite Wonders, Sphere Of Arvess, Vengeful Flames, and Signo Drive are great for increasing Zeta’s damage potential.
  • Sigils like Critical Hit Rate, Critical Damage, and Exploiter are great for mid to late game.

The build will focus on increasing Zeta’s damage output and ATK.

  • High skill damage.
  • Skills can paralyze enemies.
  • Powerful aerial combo.
  • Deals burn damage.
  • Best for mid to late-game.
  • Relies on party members for healing.
  • Her combos are hard to execute.

Best Zeta Weapon

For weapons, I will highly recommend unlocking the Huanglong Spear. You will be able to forge the weapon at the blacksmith after you have obtained Griffin Feathers.

Why I Chose This: The reason I recommended Huanglong Spear was its excellent weak point damage potential.

Another good option is Spear Of Arvess, which is your starting weapon as well. However, since I am focusing on high-damage late-game builds, Hualong Spear or Gisla is great for Zeta.

  • Using Huanglong Spear for Damage: in case you are using Zeta as your main, then it is important to unlock Huanglong Spear to deal pure damage.
  • Using Spear Of Arvess for Support: if you plan on keeping Zeta as a support in your party, then Spear of Arvess will do a good job. Paired with the Spear of Arvess skill, it can increase Zeta’s damage potential.

Best Skills For Zeta

It is important to customize Zeta’s skills depending on her position in the party.

If you are playing Zeta as the main character, then consider using the skills below.

SkillDescriptionWhy I Chose This
Vengeful FlamesThis skill will grant supplementary DMG to Zeta and is great when using her as a main.I chose this skill because it is one of the best skills for Zeta for mid to late games. It will increase the damage output of Zeta greatly.
Infinite WondersThe most powerful skill of Zeta that will allow her to shoot a multi-hit beam at the target up to three times in a row. Furthermore, it will also inflict Arvess Fermare on the enemy. This is definitely one of the most powerful skills that Zeta can perform as it can deal a significant amount of damage. Furthermore, I really like the skill as you can shoot up to three beams that can deal damage at a range.
Signo DriveThe skill will grant a 25% increase in ATK to the entire party. It is a very useful skill to fight against bosses.I chose this skill because it provides the party members with a buff and increases attack.
Spear of ArvessA fast spear lunge attack which is also a great starter for a combo. Best for fighting high-level bosses in mid to late games. It is a very powerful skill of Zeta that will allow her to deal significant damage and will let Zeta jump backward to continue with her combo.

To increase her team utility and support skills, I would recommend using Wing Clipper, Ring Of Fury, Signal Drive, and Thousand Flames. Wing Clipper is a very powerful attack that allows Zeta to swing her spear three times in a row toward her enemy target and inflict paralysis. Despite its low range, it’s highly powerful against enemies.

On the other hand, Thousand Flames is an explosive attack that will inflict burn and damage to the target enemy. Furthermore, it will also remove the above from the targeted enemy.

Top-Tier Sigils For Zeta

It is important to choose the right sigils that can complement your build and further boost damage.

Sigils
Sigils like Exploiter will make Zeta powerful against end-game bosses. (Screenshot Grab: eXputer)

Below is a list of sigils that you can use to increase the damage output of Zeta.

SigilsDescriptionWhy I Chose It
Overdrive
Assassin
Will deal more damage to enemies in Overdrive.Fighting against bosses, it is crucial to attack them especially when they enter Overdrive. This is why I made sure to add this sigil in the build.
Combo boosterGradually boost the damage of each successive hit and reset the effect if the next hit isn't made in time.Since the damage output of Zeta relies highly on the combos she performs, it is important to use the sigil.
Critical hit rateIt will boost your critical hit rate based on the level.I chose this sigil because increasing the critical hit rate of Zeta will make her more potent against end-game bosses.
Critical damageBoost damage dealt by critical hits.I chose this sigil because Zeta usually relies mostly on critical hits.
Attack powerIt can increase the attack power and overall DPS.To increase Zeta‘s DPS capabilities I chose the attack power sigil in her damage build.
ExploiterIncreases the weak point damage.I chose this sigil because not only it will increase the weak point damage but also increase damage dealt from the back.

To increase Zeta’s support capabilities, I will recommend using symbols like Health, Drain, Linked Together, Cascade, Skilled Assault, Aegis, and Quick Cooldown.

How To Unlock Zeta

Unfortunately, you will have to spend a Crewmate Card to unlock Zeta. You will get a Crewmate Card after you complete Chapter 3.

Some guests will also give you a Crewmate Card as a reward for completing them. Since Zeta is a capable mid to late-game character, you can unlock her and practice her skills to prove her capability.

My Verdict

Zeta was the first character I unlocked and is definitely a personal favorite due to her high damage output. Her aerial attacks and combos make her the best choice for avoiding attacks while dealing damage.

With this, I conclude my guide on the best build for Zeta in Granblue Fantasy Relink. I would recommend checking out Haris’ guide on the best Lancelot build, which is another great DPS character. You can also check out the guide on the best Katalina build if you want to keep her in the party with Zeta.
