One sword that can make your life easy in the Dark world of Lords of the Fallen is Fitzroy’s Sword. It is a dream sword for fans of long swords because of its big size, and it can be an excellent addition to your build. With its infliction of bleeding effect, heavy burst physical damage can be dealt to the enemy, causing physical vulnerability.

With only strength and agility requirements, and pure physical attack power it can be a great sword for pure strength-base build lovers. Also, its high physical damage protection makes you less vulnerable to physical strikes from an enemy.

Where To Find:

To find the Fitzroy’s Sword, enter the Fitzroy’s George Tunnel and sail through the tunnel using your Umbral lamp. Next, you have to defeat the Rhogar Hound and its guard Umbral Parasite, moving forward engage the Hounds at the top. Avoiding the harmful looting items, you will find Fitzroy’s Sword behind the Impaled Corpse rock.

2. Rosamund’s Sword

It’s a fascinating jagged sword that scales its offensive stats quadrupling. Its Attack power is even distributed between physical and wither. With both physical and wither, it has unique a feature of frostbite buildup at every swing. The frostbite feature deals with a damage explosion and decreases the stamina to half of the target. The weakness of Umbral enemies against Umbral damage makes it a great option in the Umbral realm.

From my experience, the Rosamund’s Sword, with its frostbite build and ability of wide swings with burst damage, is so useful against trash mobs.  Also, you can find the sword just before mid-way in the game, so you can just pair it well within the Umbral build.

Where To Find

To find Rosamund’s Sword, explore your way in the Lower Calrath. Heading forward, you will come across a flower bed in a big upper area. Make your way to open up the Umbral eye, and on the other side of the walk, you can find a loot box that contains Rosamund’s Sword.

3. Proselyte Sword

Proselyte Sword, another devastating long sword in Lords of the Fallen, can cause destructive damage to its enemies using both physical and fire damage. It inflicts its enemies with fire and burn buildup, making it an excellent option for strength-based build. Just like Rosamund’s Sword, it has an attack power equally split between physical and fire. Also, its block protection against physical and fire damage makes it a great weapon to add to your build.

The only requirements it needs are strength and burn buildup without inferno scaling, making it a vital option in the list. It can be used with a crossbow to deal massive damage while maintaining good health.

Where To Find

To get the Proselyte Sword, you must defeat the Proselyte enemy. The Proselyte enemy can be hunted down in Redcopse village. You can also find it just before the Pieta’s Boss Arena bridge. Defeating the Proselyte is tough, but the reward is great in the form of the Proselyte sword.

4. Crimson Rector Sword

Crimson Rector Sword is a great weapon that you can find early in the game. Though it has no damage with fire, holy or wither, it has great physical base damage. Also, it provides good block protection against physical damage, making it worth adding in one of the best long swords of the game for me.

With its high physical damage, it is a perfect option for a complete strength build. As an alternate, you can use the Thorned Crimson Rector Sword; both of them serve the purpose perfectly.

With its availability so early in the game, it made the fight against enemies so easy; even with no upgrade, the weapon base stats allowed me to progress faster in the game. Also, it requires only strength requirement, making life even easier for beginners.

Where To Find

To find the sword traveling across the Skyrest Bridge in Umbral. There, you can see the Umbral belly and a ladder nearby it; climb the ladder, and you will come across a fountain. Near the fountain, you can loot the dead body to enjoy the Crimson Rector Sword. Or just defeat the Crimson Rector to collect the sword.

5. Judge Cleric’s Corrupted Sword

Inferno    20

From my experience, Judge Cleric’s Corrupted Sword is the way-to-go long sword; with its usage of all four offensive stats, it provides so much versatility and balance for the players. Its only setback is the agility factor, but I feel like with high attack power, it is not an issue. The sword is useful for almost any build because of its high Radiance and Inferno, but it also provides strength and agility at the same time.

Although it uses all offensive stats, it also requires high Inferno and Radiance. It is a bit difficult to achieve, but at the same time, it increases your magic and spellcasting abilities.

Where To Find

To get this amazing sword, you need to travel to Empyrean and kill the Radiant Sentinel boss, Judge Cleric. You then need to Soulflay her stigma and it will drop Remembrance of Judge Cleric, The Radiant Sentinel. Exchange this Remembrance with Molhu at Skyrest Bridge for the sword.

Best Long Sword-My Opinion

Out of all the best long swords we have discussed, for me personally, the best of the lot is the Judge Cleric’s Corrupted Sword. It depends on your playstyle and the build you want to try. All these weapons are specialized in their domain, and can experiment with each of these.

From my experience, Judge Cleric’s Corrupted Sword offered more versatility to my build, as it offers all four offensive sets. It is lightweight and, with good inferno and radiance, provides good magic and spell-casting abilities. So, I would strongly recommend adding this beast to your build or, as an alternative, using Rosamund’s Sword as it provides almost similar advantages to your build.
