In Lords of the Fallen, long swords are melee weapon types that can be wielded by players. They offer versatility, and their choice depends on your character’s build and playstyle, making them effective. These weapons allow wide swing, maintain distance from enemies, and provide a balanced mixture of reach, speed, and damage.

One sword that can make your life easy in the Dark world of Lords of the Fallen is Fitzroy’s Sword. It is a dream sword for fans of long swords because of its big size, and it can be an excellent addition to your build. It also inflicts bleed, making it best for inflicting the status effect on opponents.

You can find the sword in Fitzroy’s George Tunnel behind the Impaled Corpse rock.

  • Inflicts bleed on opponents.
  • Deals good physical damage.
  • Not viable for mid or late-game.
  • Why I Chose This: I chose Fitzroy’s Sword due to its high physical damage and its ability to inflict bleed effects on the enemies.

2. Rosamund’s Sword

Wither 62
Requirements Strength 13, Agility 13, Radiance 16, Inferno 16

It’s a fascinating jagged sword that scales its offensive stats quadrupling. Its Attack power is even distributed between physical and wither. With that said, it scales on each stat and deals frostbite, making it the best well-balanced long sword.

From my experience, the Rosamund’s Sword, with its frostbite build and ability to make wide swings with burst damage, is so useful against trash mobs. To find Rosamund’s Sword, explore the Lower Calrath. Make your way to open up the Umbral Eye and find Rosamund’s Sword.

  • Scales with all stats.
  • Has 150 frostbite status effect.
  • The scaling is a little low.
  • Why I Chose This: I chose the Rosamund’s Sword due to its frostbite status effect and the fact that it scales on four attributes makes it special.

3. Proselyte Sword

Attack Power 124

Requirements Strength 19

Proselyte Sword, another devastating long sword in Lords of the Fallen, can cause destructive damage to its enemies using both physical and fire damage. It inflicts its enemies with fire and burns buildup, making it the best option for that.

To get the Proselyte Sword, you must defeat the Proselyte enemy in Redcopse village.

  • Deals burn to opponents.
  • Requirements are not crazy.
  • Not viable in late-game areas.
  • Why I Chose This: The Porselyte Sword is on my list as it is great for early game areas and it can inflict burn on the enemies.

4. Crimson Rector Sword

The Best Long Sword For Early Game Areas.

Attack Power 130

Fire 0
Wither 0
Requirements Strength 19

Crimson Rector Sword is a great weapon that you can find early in the game. Though it has no damage with fire, holy, or withers, it has great physical base damage. Also, it provides good block protection against physical damage, making it worth adding in one of the best long swords of the game for me.

Defeat the Crimson Rector to get the sword.

  • High damage for early-game enemies.
  • Not useful in mid and late-game areas.
  • Why I Chose This: The Crimson Rector Sword is a great sword to use in early areas of Lord of the Fallen due to its high base damage.

5. Judge Cleric’s Corrupted Sword

Long Sword Stats Value
Weight 15.6
Attack Power 130
Physical 67
Holy 33
Fire 33
Wither 0
Requirements Strength 13, Agility 13, Radiance 20, Inferno 20

From my experience, Judge Cleric’s Corrupted Sword is the way-to-go long sword. With its usage of all four offensive stats, it provides so much versatility and balance for the players. Although it uses all offensive stats, it also requires high Inferno and Radiance. Due to that, I consider it the best Remebracne long sword.

Defeat the Radiant Sentinel boss, Judge Cleric, to get the sword.

  • Deals all damage types except Wither.
  • The damage is pretty good.
  • Has poor scaling.
  • Why I Chose This: Judge Celric’s Curropted Sword is on the list due to its scaling on each stat and the fact that it is a remembrance weapon.

Similar Options To Go For

I excluded some excellent Long Swords from my top 5 list due to some factors. However, you can also test these out to see if they suit your style:

  • Judge Cleric’s Radiant Sword: A viable option, but it has a slower swing speed compared to the other weapons I selected above.
  • Paladin Isaac’s Sword: While boasting high physical damage as a starting weapon, it falls behind stronger choices later in the game.
  • Old Mournstead Large Sword: It does not have any elemental damage, so it may not be as effective against some enemies as other weapons.
  • The Red Hand: A good weapon for players who want to get up close with their enemies and deal heavy damage.

Best Long Sword – My Opinion

Out of all the best long swords I have discussed, for me personally, the best of the lot is the Judge Cleric’s Corrupted Sword.

From my experience, Judge Cleric’s Corrupted Sword offered more versatility to my build, as it offers all four offensive sets. It is lightweight and, with good inferno and radiance, provides good magic and spell-casting abilities. So, I would strongly recommend adding this beast to your build or, as an alternative, using Rosamund’s Sword, as it provides almost similar advantages to your build.

That is all from my top five best long swords of Lords of the Fallen. To learn more about the insides of the game, read our expert Muhammad Haris’ thoughts on Lords of the Fallen.
