From a Sorceress to a Barbarian, players can see which class suits them best with the Diablo 4 class tier list!

Diablo 4 has a total of 5 classes, out of which three can be tested and tried as of now. While all classes are pretty playable, players might need assistance with figuring out which of the classes they should actually try out.

Key Takeaways
  • There are a total of 5 classes that are to be released that range from a Barbarian, Druid, Rogue, Necromancer as well as Sorceress.
  • All 5 classes have been ranked on the basis of their abilities, general playstyle, DPS potential, supporting abilities as well as damage output.
  • The S-tier mainly focuses on classes that are the best of the best and serve the best potential in-game.
  • The A-tier focuses on classes that are pretty solid, have a good playstyle, and generally are in the middle.
  • The B-tier is a rank that players would rather not pick unless there weren’t better options available.
  • The Sorceress as well as the Necromancer class, is placed in S-tier.
  • The Rogue and Druid have been placed in the A-Tier.
  • The Barbarian class has been placed in the B-tier.

When it comes to the Necromancer is one of the best classes that players can go for, and they are known to be the custodians between life and death. They are once again a caster that can use Essence and Corpses as their main resources.

The Rogue is a striker class that is extremely quick on their feet, and they can mix together the elements of both ranged and melee combat, making them an extremely handy class to choose from. They mainly make use of Energy and combo points.

  • High damage output.
  • Several effects to make enemies vulnerable.
  • Mobility-focused class.
  • Great all-rounder stats.

When it comes to Druids, they are pretty much the pinnacle of shapeshifting. While playing as a Druid, they can either become a bear or a wolf, and they specialize in mainly carrying out air and earth attacks.

  • Allows shapeshifting.
  • Different forms gain different buffs.
  • Solid DPS pick.
  • Versatile due to Lightning and Earth magic.
  • Players can only form bonds with one spirit animal.

B-Tier

The Barbarian is the only class that gets a place in the B-tier, mainly due to its long cooldowns and the immense dodging players need to do while playing it.

Barbarian

Last but not least, the Barbarian has been ranked pretty low due to its face value. The Barbarian class itself is known to be masters of strength, aggressiveness, tanking as well as damage output. The Arsenal System allows players to slot 4 weapons.

  • One of the tankiest in-game classes.
  • Berserk Mode allows quicker movement.
  • Causes status effects on enemies like Bleed.
  • Consistent dodging.
  • Long cooldowns on skills.

Tier List Criteria

Tier lists are typically made by keeping the general playstyle of each class in mind. Since two of the five classes are not available to play, they are yet to be tested at hand.

  • General playstyle
  • Abilities
  • Damage output
  • Versatility
  • DPS potential

These are typically the main things that players might look into whenever they want to main a class in Diablo 4.
