Diablo 4: Traveler’s Superstition Quest [Walkthrough]

Learn about how to complete Diablo 4 Traveler’s Superstition quest and get the substantial rewards by completing it

Diablo 4 features many side quests, such as HelltideDonan’s Favor, Legion Events, and many more. But perhaps only a few of them are as unique and passive as the Diablo 4 Traveler’s Superstition quest, which includes no fight or action. However, completing the task might become a bit tricky if you’re not aware of how to complete it.

Important: The Traveler’s Superstition quest will become available during Act 5 in Diablo 4, once you complete the main storyline tasks and visit back to the quest location.

Key Takeaways
  • Quest Availability: The “Traveler’s Superstition” quest is available at the end of Act 5 in Diablo 4.
  • Quest Location: Start the quest by traveling to the Rotspill Delta area in the Hawezar region and find the mighty statue near a destroyed boat.
  • Quest Initiation: Initiate the quest by reaching the statue and picking up the secret note lying beside it.
  • Objective: The main objective of the quest is to pay respect to the statue by performing a “Hello” emote from your emote wheel.
  • Completion: Complete the quest by opening your emote wheel and performing the Hello emote in front of the sculpture.
  • Rewards: Upon completion, you get a Hidden Chest that rewards packs Renown, Elixirs, Gold, and XP inside it

How To Start Traveler’s Superstition Quest

Based on my gameplay experience, there are only a few side quests in Diablo 4 that involve performing specific emotes to accomplish the task, such as Secrets of the Springs and Traveler’s Prayer. Traveler’s Superstition is also an emote-related quest that requires no slaying action. You can find the quest in the Rotspill Delta area in the Hawezar region.

Completing the quest might be a bit tricky, as most players get confused about what to do. Here are the detailed steps that I took to initiate and complete the quest:

  1. Firstly, make your way to the Backwater Waypoint in Bosun’s Woe and wander along the north coast until you stumble upon a statue near the wrecked ship.
  2. Get close to the sculpture and pick up the Hastily Scrawled Note to activate the quest.
  3. As you read the note, it says “Show her respect, and she will surely accompany you on your way. Ignore her, and suffer the same fate as these poor fools”.

Now, to complete the quest and get substantial rewards, follow what the note says. Here are quick steps of what to do:

  1. Show respect to the statue by standing in front of it and using your greeting emote.
  2. To perform the emote, open your emote wheel by pressing the E button on your keypad if you have not altered the default controls.
  3. If you can not find the “Hello” emote in the default options, select Customize and choose the emote from there.
  4. Perform the emote to complete the side quest.

And just like that, you’ve completed the quest and earned good fortune from the statue. Your reward is a Hidden Chest containing Hawezar Renown, Elixirs, Gold, and XP. With its ease of completion and decent loot, don’t miss out on this quest.

In a nutshell, Diablo 4 Traveler’s Superstition riddle is simple but a tricky side quest that requires a bit of brain effort to complete. This quest portrays how the game has also featured some passive tasks, aside from action and bloodbath.
