AEW Fight Forever Could Come To Xbox Game Pass On Day One

Looks like a tremendous launch with Game Pass sliding in.

As reported by WrestleZone, Fight Forever, the first console game from All Elite Wrestling will be entirely playable through Xbox Game Pass right away. THQ Nordic, the game’s publisher, made Fight Forever’s first significant disclosure to the gaming community in August.

Over 25 million Xbox Game Pass customers will be able to access AEW Fight Forever once it debuts on the service. Yuke’s is currently working on the AEW Fight Forever which is scheduled to be released on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Playstation 5, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Given the extensive history of collaboration between THQ Nordic and Microsoft, there is a chance that AEW: Fight Forever will be added to Game Pass.

We still don’t have an official release date for the game, so it’s presently unknown when THQ Nordic or All Elite Wrestling will make the announcement about the Game Pass release.

Although as reported by WresteZone,

There is good news for the game on the horizon, however, as numerous sources have informed me that when AEW Fight Forever is released, it will be part of the Xbox Game Pass on day one.

If the rumor turns out true, this will be the first officially sanctioned wrestling game ever made available on Xbox Game Pass. Fight Forever will join other titles that have been made available through the subscription service, such as Halo: Infinite.

The date of AEW: Fight Forever’s release is currently absolutely uncertain. The game was supposed to be released in September 2022, however, it is already November. It should still be released in 2022 at some point.

The AEW console game’s precise release date is unknown, but Amazon has put a placeholder release date of December 31, 2022. A 2022 release date for the game was also indicated by Kenny Omega.

Aside from brand-new, high-flying AEW talent, players can look forward to playing as some of the most legendary wrestlers to ever step foot in the ring. Retro arcade-wrestler vibes, cutting-edge AEW finishers, and tandem offense moves mix in AEW Fight Forever.

Game creator Yuke’s has revealed gameplay from AEW Fight Forever and announced various game modes, such as Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch and Casino Battle Royale, that would be included in the game.

A variety of mini-games will be included in AEW Fight Forever, including a baseball mode where participants must hit home runs.

The game’s current visual aesthetic is claimed to be more arcade-like than the WWE Games series, drawing inspiration from WWF No Mercy and Virtual Pro Wrestling.
