The milestone is notable because it is the most the title has sold since its release. That trend has followed every year, with Deep Rock Galactic selling more than before each year. It had shifted about 2.3 million copies in 2022, showcasing its popularity and the growing community. Over 800,715 players have played the title for more than a hundred hours at least since launch, and the average time spent per user has ended at 46 hours and 1 minute.

The achievements do not end there, as the devs confirmed that the user base has almost tripled compared to where it stood in 2019. The daily active users in 2023 paint a vivid picture of the beloved dwarven mining simulator, standing at 150,300 DAU. It was a significant increase from the 2022 daily active users of 113,700. The monthly average users crossed over a million at 1,018,230, up from the massive 827,890 in 2022.
