Fortnite & Among Us Collaboration Could Be Coming Soon

Data-mined files show keywords related to Among Us!

Fortnite’s collaborations are unprecedented. When it comes to crossovers, no other developer does them like Epic Games. In recent years, the company has collaborated with the likes of Marvel and DC to bring in-game cosmetics to its highly successful game, Fortnite. As such, we’ve now come to know that Epic Games might be collaborating with InnerSloth LLC to bring in-game Among Us cosmetics to Fortnite, too.

In a tweet posted by HYPEX, a notable data-miner who has been leaking in-game Fortnite cosmetics since the game was released, talked about finding certain keywords in the game’s files related to a “thing” called “Mole”. The keywords related to it are; Electrical, Cafeteria, Tasks, Sabotage, Factory, Repair, Lab, Visitor CSI, Weapons Lab, Island Monitoring, Security, and The Loop.

Now, we know that most of these keywords are obviously related to Among Us. Hence, we can also assume that “Mole” probably regards to the “Imposter” here. However, these keywords could also be related to the Imagined Order’s (IO) Office, as there is “Visitor CSI” and “The Loop” in there. Yet, the facts do point to the obvious direction; that a Fortnite and Among Us collaboration is imminent.

We don’t know for certain what Epic Games intends to do. Among Us in-game character cosmetics would be unusual for a Battle Royale game like Fortnite, considering how wide they’d be to be used competitively. Another speculation we have is that Fortnite might just be releasing NPCs into the game or, perhaps, a mini-game related to Among Us. Epic Games is notorious for its collaborations with pop-culture memes and, being a meme, Among Us would make sense in Fortnite. All we can do now is wait for a confirmation from Epic Games or InnerSlotch LLC.
