Forza Horizon 5 Has Now Topped 34 Million Players Since Launch

Playground Games’ massively popular title, Forza Horizon 5 has now surpassed 34 million players since launch. Despite the game being out for almost two years now, the player base has been surging unstoppably, hitting a new milestone every now and then. The English studio’s racing marvel has consistently outperformed the latest addition to the Forza franchise, Forza Motorsport.

First noticed by an X (formerly Twitter) user, Snap Blast PLAY, Forza Horizon 5 has now accumulated over 34 million racers. The incredible player count is visible on the title’s in-game ‘Hall of Fame’ leaderboard. The latest milestone follows the arcade racer’s previous score of 30 million players in May then going up to 32 million in August this year indicating that the title has been amassing a million players each month on average.

It may be noted that the number includes Xbox Game Pass players plus the rest of the platforms, still almost 35 million players two years into the launch is nothing short of exceptional. Forza Horizon 5’s nonstop growth is also evident from its SteamDB charts. The game is averaging a daily concurrent peak of 10,000+ players. Conversely, the franchise’s latest IP, Forza Motorsport by Turn 10 Studios is getting somewhere around a 2000 daily peak.

Forza Horizon 5 was launched on November 5, 2021, on Xbox Series X|S and PC. It is the fifth installment in the Forza Horizon series and the twelfth main installment in the Forza franchise.
