Naraka: Bladepoint Has Crossed Over 40 Million Players

The game adopted a free-to-play model back in July this year.

Story Highlights

  • Naraka: Bladepoint is a battle royale title, specializing in martial arts-based melee combat.
  • The game was initially paid but was transformed into free-to-play earlier this year.
  • The developers have confirmed that Bladepoint has now crossed 40 million players.

Being crowned as one of the best third-person battle royale games out there, Naraka: Bladepoint has clicked well with players, especially after the RPG shifted from its paid stature to a free-to-play business model. In recent times, developer 24 Entertainment has made it official that the game has clocked over 40 million players across the board, having first released in 2021. This, by far, is no small feat.

Moreover, in the wake of this newfound success, the devs also say that they’re giving away rewards to 10 lucky winners. To mark an entry, all you have to do is retweet the post in question, and that’ll label you as an eligible participant. This only covers the “bonus” that the devs have mentioned. Base rewards celebrating Naraka’s immense player count will automatically be handed out once players log into the game.

In addition to this milestone, the official X (formerly Twitter) handle of the RPG has gained more than 200,000 followers in total, which is somewhat of another breakthrough for Naraka: Bladepoint’s devs. Looking back, the title was released in August 2021, for PC, with an Xbox Series X|S version coming afterward in June 23, 2022. The devs then decided to port the game to Xbox One later in the year as well.
