Ubisoft’s “Spring Sale” Goes Live; Offers Up To 85% Off And A Free Game

Get The Last Friend free with any on-sale item's purchase.

Story Highlights

  • Ubisoft’s latest sale promotion to go live on its official storefront has been dubbed the “Spring Sale.” This particular event slaps on an up to 85% discount on a number of noteworthy Ubisoft titles, such as Far Cry 6, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Rainbow Six Extraction, Anno 1800, and The Settlers.
  • Upon purchasing any game, you’ll get The Last Friend for free as part of the sale event—a $15 indie title developed by The Stonebot Studio and Ludus Games.
  • The event is due to run until April 4 at 1 pm UTC.

The latest Spring Sale by the French industry giant kicks off the season with fairly enticing discounted deals on the official Ubisoft storefront, slapping up to 85% off on a number of different titles. Unlike some of the previous promotional events conducted by Ubisoft, this one offers a free game along with any purchase. Moreover, there’s the added benefit of retrieving $10 in rewards after spending $20 from your Ubisoft Wallet.

First-party Ubisoft games such as Far Cry 6, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction, For Honor, Anno 1800, Assassin’s Creed Unity, Riders Republic, and Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 are all currently enjoying discounted prices, with some of them even stretching up to as high as 85% off. If you’re tight on budget at the moment, the opportunity to save big

Here are some of the most prominent highlights of the sale-centric event. Ubisoft has this habit of ditching the standard edition of its titles to put on sale and instead focuses on premium-grade variants of its exclusive titles. For instance, the Spring Sale does not do anything for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction Standard Edition, but you find the first-person shooter’s Deluxe Edition discounted to $15 thanks to the ongoing promotion.

  • Anno 1800 – Complete Edition Y4 55% Off
  • The Settlers: New Allies – Standard Edition 25% Off
  • The Settlers: New Allies – Deluxe Edition 25% Off
  • Assassin’s Creed Valhalla – Complete Edition 65% Off

Ubisoft appears to be going all out with its sale events in recent times, having just wrapped things up with the Multi Coop sale. Before that, the gaming tycoon’s Premium Sale event took 65% off Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Funny thing is, the Spring Sale has applied a 67% discount on Valhalla. If you didn’t get the title then, now might be a good time to stretch your wallet a bit.

One of the best parts about the recent Spring Sale event is how it involves discounts for not just PC, but for Xbox and PlayStation platforms too. However, the availability of certain titles is a concern here. For instance, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint‘s Xbox and PlayStation editions have gone out of stock, restricting players to only purchase the PC variant of the third-person shooter.

As for some of the other benefits included as part of the current sale event, Ubisoft is giving away a free game, namely The Last Friend, with any full game purchase. The indie title retails for about $15, but you can grab it at the moment without paying a single penny, provided you’re taking something off of Ubisoft’s shelf. This fun-filled 2D brawler revolves around the protagonist rescuing the world’s dogs following their instant lock-up.

Lastly, Ubisoft says that if you spend $19.99 using your Ubisoft Wallet, you’ll get $10 back as a reward. This opportunity is also part of the Spring Sale and may not pop up again in the near future. Do also bear in mind though that the offer is only available for countries where the Wallet functionality is operational, namely Canada and the United States. For users outside of these two regions, a 20% off coupon code will be provided.

Let us know in the comments ahead whether you’ll be going for a title or three using this sale. Excuse me while I continually add more games to my backlog, which I’m probably not tending to anytime soon.
