Unrecord is a photorealistic FPS by DRAMA that has grasped the gaming industry with its realistic visuals and alluring life-like features. While many users assumed that the game was only slated for the PC platform, it seems that the devs are already thinking about bringing the new FPS to other platforms. The news stems from the official Discord server for the game, where the official FAQ section clarifies the future plans for the stunning title.

Unrecord will be released on PC, and we are considering other platforms. We want to reach as many players as possible while providing a high-quality experience. Platform availability will be updated.”

At the time of writing, Unrecord is already available to wishlist on Steam, featuring over 10,000 followers as per the Steam tracking site, SteamDB. Regardless, other platforms are also being “considered,” leaving console-only gamers full of anticipation for the naturalistic FPS project. We could soon be able to enjoy the attractive venture on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, making for a hearty and fun time where every fired bullet feels real.

Hence, we can expect the platform availability to be updated as the game progresses in development. While no exact console is mentioned, we can anticipate it to arrive on both in the future. As noted above, the team is trying to target “as many players as possible,” so we could also see Unrecord arrive on subscription services like the Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus, making it more accessible and a cheaper option for console-only gamers.

Unrecord has become one of the most appreciated titles recently because of its realistic approach to visuals and camera, causing it to still be shunned by some gamers who refuse to believe that it is a real project. Nevertheless, the title is indeed real and not just real-life recorded footage or AI-generated content like many gamers have assumed.

If you are unfamiliar, it is a single-player FPS shooter that combines hyper-realistic visuals, and realistic camera work through the lens of a body cam. Unrecord sees you playing as a tactical police officer as you explore a case from the perspective of the body camera. The title will require you to combine tactical and detective skills to solve a complex case, making it feel like every fired bullet could change the outcome of the mission.
