CI Games and Hexworks came together to push out one of the most capable Soulslikes of 2023, and now, it appears that the folks higher up wish to broaden their reach with a high-profile decision. Last week, eXputer reported that Lords of the Fallen is headed to Xbox Game Pass.
While that was still a rumor at the time, today we’ve received official confirmation from Polish news outlet, Bankier.pl, that CI Games has signed a new deal that lets Lords of the Fallen be on Xbox Game Pass for the indefinite future. Day in and day out, it seems the overall value associated with being a Game Pass member grows substantially.
The Management Board of CI Games SE based in Warsaw (“Company”) informs that on May 3, 2024, the company concluded an agreement with Microsoft Corporation based in Washington, United States the subject of which is to make games available in 2024 ‘Lords of the Fallen’ and
‘Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2’ from the company’s portfolio in the Game Pass program operated by Microsoft. Pursuant to the agreement, the rights to the Games will remain with the company,” says the report.
Game Pass Is More Value-Driven Than Ever In 2024
At the time of writing, the library of the service comprises over 400 titles and additional features such as exclusive discounts on the Xbox Store, cross-platform play, and even the inclusion of EA Play’s catalog if you opt for the Ultimate tier, making the whole affair more than just worth it in 2024.
And in case you missed it, the devs added Star Wars Jedi: Survivor as well to Game Pass in recent times via EA Play, which eventually led hordes of new players to the action-adventure RPG in the form of a newfound boost.
