Kojima Productions

Founded nearly two decades ago by Hideo Kojima, Kojima Productions is a Japanese video game studio that emerged on April 1, 2005. Established after Konami consolidated various subsidiaries, including Kojima’s team at Konami Computer Entertainment Japan, the studio is renowned for creating the captivating Metal Gear series. In 2019, the studio achieved success with the PS4 game Death Stranding, which later saw a director’s cut version on PS5 and a PC release. This marked Kojima Productions’ first project after breaking ties with Konami.
