Epic Games’ Presentation Reveals New Crossovers Coming to Fortnite

There’s no other game that does crossovers as Fornite does. From making the legendary Ghost of Sparta dance like a little sissy to bringing the earth’s mightiest heroes for boat races, this battle royale is nothing but pure amusement. Adding to the game’s massive portfolio, an internal presentation over at Epic Games HQ has revealed a horde of more crossovers for 2021.

The news exclusively comes from The Verge as the renowned media website has uploaded the full presentation to Document Cloud. The presentation is up for public viewing now and has quite the details concerning the popular third-person sandbox shooter. What we’ve been able to gather is that some highly famous personalities are going to make themselves playable on Fortnite soon, and some of them include Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and basketball giant LeBron James.

As for The Rock, the superstar will be added to the game’s Icon series and more entries are to follow on that prospect. Take a look at the promotional image below.

What’s even more interesting is that some sort of a mini-game is being developed for Fortnite that’ll circulate around basketball. If players at some point get tired of all the various game modes, they’re going to have yet another flexible go at something entirely unique.

The slide refers to the mini-game as “a Fortnite version of arcade basketball.” In addition to the sporty gameplay, the game is set to partner up with NBA and incorporate specific emotes and banners related to actual games of basketball. There’s going to be a host of other features that’ll come in the wake of this partnership as well.

The rest of the document discusses financial strategies and plans for the near future. Fortnite is not looking to slow down anytime soon in terms of partnerships and collaborations and only seems to grow and grow even more.
