Story Highlights
A former Nintendo employee, Koichi Miura, recently spoke up about his experience working there. Koichi recently made a public post on his X account expressing his feelings while he worked in game production. He stated (text translation by X), “Nintendo was a great company, but I wouldn’t recommend it to others easily because it was a nest of superhumans and geniuses. As an average person, it was hell for me.”
(@BunchoCG) November 7, 2023
Koichi Miura worked as a developer at Nintendo from 2019 to 2023 and currently works as a freelance CG designer. Before Nintendo, Miura worked at Square Enix, according to his X account profile details. Miura apparently did not like the work conditions at Nintendo and realized that it wasn’t for him. It made him decide to go in a different direction regarding his career, and he chose to freelance.
