No longer will the shadow of the player glitch up to show the wrong animation states in Counter-Strike 2. The update has most likely altered the way shadows are rendered, fixing the awkward glitches that would often happen during gameplay. There were also a plethora of minor bug fixes to demo playback. However, the biggest change in the update targets the weapon-switching system.
Weapon switching will not cancel grenade throws after releasing the fire button(s), but a round restart can still do it. The bug causing the disappearance of starting pistols from the Pistols tab of the Equipment view was also squashed. The specific map fixes that aim to slash the reported issues in Mirage, Anubis, Vertigo, Nuke, Inferno, and Dust2 have also been shared in the image below.

Counter-Strike 2 came out with a fair reception on September 27, 2023, for Windows and Linux. However, rumors of its release on the mobile platform have also floated around in the past. eXputer’s Asad Ahmed reviewed it with a score of 3.5/5, dubbing it “a game that undermines Valve’s reputation.” Despite the bugs, missing features, and modes. Valve has crafted quite a solid shooter, and there is a lot of fun waiting to be had.
