Guerrilla Games’ Multiplayer Horizon Game Could Be Named “Hunters Gathering,” Teases Leak

Guerrilla Games might have come under the crossfire from the recent Insomniac Games hack. The upcoming multiplayer Horizon game by the studio could be dubbed “Hunters Gathering,” as discovered in a new leak on Imgur. It was first uploaded on the r/GamingLeaksAndRumors subreddit by u/OrangeC-2003. Insomniac Games may be helping with the game in some way behind the scenes, resulting in the leak.

The detail likely surfaced due to Insomniac getting hacked a week ago, which exposed the name of the game. The leaked image also references outsourcing the workload to Insomniac by including the outsourcing budget of Horizon: Forbidden West and the Burning Shores DLC. In other words, it is quite credible since it comes from an official source.

The newly leaked name does not align with everyone’s taste, however. Many fans have found the name awkward to pronounce, especially without the Horizon part like the past releases. The name is likely meant to be a working title or a codename, more specifically. We could see significant changes to the finalized name of the multiplayer project by Guerrilla Games. We suggest taking the leak with a huge grain of salt.
