PlayStation Releases New Trailer For Top Games Coming In 2024

We're talking Stellar Blade, Rise of the Ronin, and many more.

Story Highlights

  • PlayStation has unveiled a new trailer on its official YouTube that details new games in 2024.
  • Some of the best titles shown include Rise of the Ronin, Stellar Blade, and Helldivers 2.
  • Not all the games seen in the trailer are PlayStation 5 exclusives, such as Tekken 8.

I’m going to be honest here—2023’s catalog of newly released games looks spectacular in hindsight, and it’s remarkable how the gaming industry got so many fantastic games within a span of a single year. We’re talking Alan Wake 2, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Baldur’s Gate 3 — arguably one of the greatest RPGs of all time — and multiple others.

Now that we’re hard and heavy into 2024 already, it’s no surprise that many developers have lined up some highly anticipated titles for this year as well, and, of course, new announcements are always something to look forward to. Taking to YouTube to make the announcement, PlayStation has unveiled a new trailer that gives us a look into some of the best PS5 games we can expect later in 2024.

The 2-minute footage shows off a breadth of games in brilliant fashion, and personally, I’m most excited for Stellar Blade, which pretty much looks like the lovechild of NieR: Automata and Devil May Cry. Although the game has gone through rigorous development processes that saw it shifting directions in the past, fans expected the title to be out in 2023, but a PS Blog post earlier made the 2024 release window official.

Next, we’ve got the likes of Dragon’s Dogma 2, Silent Hill, Foamstars, and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater coming in, not to mention the added expanse of Tekken 8 — the next iteration in the legendary Tekken franchise of fighting games — and even the remastered version of The Last of Us Part 2. Something tells me 2024 is going to be no slouch either, carrying last year’s spirit of terrific titles.
