Baldur’s Gate 3 Dominates Steam Deck’s 100 Most-Played Games In Last 12 Months

Baldur’s Gate 3 has just been hailed as the most-played game on Steam Deck for the last 12 months. Valve has recently released a list of the top 100 most-played games on the handheld between March 2023 to March 2024, revealing the massive milestone in the process. The list is based on the highest daily active player count, regardless of their Verified status. Even the games marked as Playable are included among the Verified ones.

The rest of the long list is sprawling with a bunch of indies and other influential releases. Vampire Survivors hogged the second spot while Dave the Diver secured the third. Palworld is in sixth place after being surpassed by Elden Ring and Hogwarts Legacy. 

Baldur’s Gate 3 Has Left An Indelible Mark On The RPG Genre

The story-rich title has been critically acclaimed ever since its launch. It features hundreds of different choices, which can drastically alter your ending. The intricate web of player interactions with the NPCs also adds a huge depth of realism. It is no surprise that the entry has rolled over 10 million copies globally. Additionally, the Steam players still average around 645,000 users daily in the RPG.
