One of the essential elements in any Assassin’s Creed game is the skill tree. There are a total of 38 skills in the skill tree. It keeps the game interesting and allows you to perform fantastic finishers and new abilities. The Skill Tree makes the game easier and more exciting at the same time. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has an interesting skill tree with many minor buffs surrounding amazing abilities that you can unlock and play around with.
- Assassin’s Creed Valhalla features three skill paths: Bear, Wolf, and Raven.
- The game includes a total of 38 skills distributed across these paths.
- You earn skill points by leveling up, with two skill points gained for each XP level increase.
- Unlocking skills with these points increases your Power Level, enhancing Eivor’s capabilities.
- Each skill tree contains vital skills that significantly improve your gameplay and unlock your full potential.
- The Raven tree offers the “Way of the Raven” skill, which provides multiple benefits in exchange for just one skill point.
AC Valhalla All Skill Tree Paths
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has a detailed skill tree; however, it can look a bit intimidating at first. There are three paths in the skill tree that you can take
- The way of the Bear
- The way of the Raven
- The way of the Wolf.
Power System & Skill Points
- The Skill Tree is powered by Skill Points.
- You can get two skill points for each new XP level you achieve.
- Once you have gotten your skill points, you can head over to the skill tree and unlock and acquire skills.
- Each time you obtain a skill, minor or major, it will increase your Power Level at the bottom of the screen.
- You will need to follow a specific path to get to the distinct ability you are trying to obtain.
- That means you will have to unlock a few minor skills on your way to that primary Skill or ability.
- Also, you might have to unlock quite a few major skills as well if the Major Skills are deep in the Skill tree.
Path Of The Raven All Skills (Assassin Path)
The first path we will be talking about is going to be the raven path. Most people also call it the Assassin path seeing that it has skills fine-tuned for killing. Most of these skills are flashy, along with being useful, so if you want a visually pleasing game, you will want these. The Raven path is going to glow yellow when you place your cursor over the skills and has a good variety of both melees and ranged abilities.
Minor Skills
The Raven path is going to have the most variety of minor skills compared to the other two paths in the Skill tree. You can also find skills of both other paths scattered around here. These skills will buff up everything you got, from your hammer to smash your enemies to the predator bow to snipe them from afar. Unlocking these skills is going to be essential for you and make the game significantly more fun.

Auto-Loot
One of the most useful skills that you can unlock in the Raven path is going to be Auto-Loot. Not only will it come in handy constantly throughout your gameplay, but it is also passive, so you have to do nothing to activate it when you kill an enemy with melee weapons or perform an assassination. You will automatically loot them, saving you time in the heat of battle. It’s essential if you are playing with melee weapons.
Backstab
One skill that you will want to unlock is Backstab, no matter your playstyle. It allows you to deal extra damage when hitting your enemy from behind, so it’s useful in any situation. Like most of the abilities, this one is not limited to melee or the bow and will be viable with both. Enables a second assassination immediately after the first, efficiently taking down multiple targets.
Explosive Corpse
Turns a stealth kill into a booby-trapped corpse that explodes when investigated by another enemy, adding a fun element to gameplay.
Guided Arrow
Allows control of an arrow in flight for precise hits, adding a unique capability to the Predator bow.

Maintains attack capability despite incoming hits, useful for continuous aggression in combat.
Miasma
Releases a poisonous gas from a poisoned corpse, effectively damaging other enemies who come near, excellent for crowd control.
Missile Reversal
Catches and returns projectiles to the attacker, a challenging but rewarding defensive tactic.
Mounted Archer
There are quite a few bow abilities that are scattered around the Skill Tree. However, you are unable to use them while riding a horse. Mounted Archer provides an instant fix to that problem allowing you to use your abilities even if you are riding around. Although it might be a bit difficult to aim, the abilities will help you out significantly when you land those shots.
Predator Bow Combo
Increases damage with consecutive headshots using the Predator bow, ideal for skilled archers.
Raven’s Loot
Automatically collects loot from ranged kills, similar to Auto-Loot but for archery, enhancing convenience.
Way Of The Bear All Skills (Melee/Warrior Path)

Way of the Bear is centered around more up close and personal combat. If you like to rush into danger and get your hands dirty, you will love these skills.
Minor Skills
