Best Armors In AC Valhalla Dawn of Ragnarok

In our list, we are going to mention a total of four armor sets that we found better. Keep in mind that getting most of these armors is a time-consuming task. However, considering the kind of armor sets you’ll get for going through the trouble, it’s going to be worth it. So without any further due, let’s take a look at the best AC Valhalla Ragnarok armors.

Fire Giant Armor Set

AC Vallhala Dawn of Ragnarok best armors
Fire Giant Armor Set

The first armor set on our list is the Fire Giant set. This is easily one of the most badass-looking armor sets in the entire game. I love the burnt effect on the cape. The amount of protection offered by this entire set is also amazing.

The thing which makes the Fire Giant set amazing are the perks attached to it. If you’re someone who has a pure melee-based build, then you should get this armor set as it increases the melee damage of the weapon when it is set on fire. This means that if you have the new Fiery Warsong weapon that was also introduced through the Dawn of Ragnarok update, then you should pair this armor set with it. This is because the Fiery Warsong gets set on fire after you get surrounded by three or more enemies. And once you have both things equipped, you’ll be able to take down a group of enemies quickly and easily.

The Fire Giant armor set is a Mythical tier armor set, and you can level it up all the way to the Divine tier. Furthermore, since it’s linked to the Bear gear collection, you can increase its stats by increasing the Red passives in the Skill Tree.

How To Get The Fire Giant Armor Set

The Fire Giant armor set can be found in different chests. These chests are located at different locations throughout Svartalfhiem. Make sure that you have both the Power of Muspelheim and the Power of the Raven before you go searching for the chest. So without any further due, let’s take a look at how you can get the first armor set in our AC Valhalla Dawn of Ragnaork best armors guide.

Fire Giant Chest Armor

To get the Chest Armor, you will need to go to Skidgardr, which is located south on the map. There, you will first need to get two keys through which you’ll be able to open up the chest containing the Chest Armor.

The first key can be found in the middle of the lava and you can pick it up with ease. As for the second key, it can be found on a platform on a tree nearby. Once you get to the platform, break the vase in front of you and pick up the key. However, keep in mind that you will need the Power of the Raven to get up the tree as there is no other method.

After you have acquired both keys, head down the hill and make your way inside the cave where you’ll be able to find the chest containing the Chest Armor.

Fire Giant Helmet

To get the Fire Giant Helmet, you’ll need to visit Gomull-Bru. Compared to the other items of this set, the helmet is fairly easy to pick up. All you need to do is go to the middle of the lava pool in Gomull-Bru and pull away the stone blocking the cage. Once done, you can go inside the cage and pick up the Fire GIant Helmet from inside a chest. However, do keep in mind that the area is swarming with enemies. So make sure to be as stealthy as possible to avoid unnecessary fights.

Fire Giant Cloak

The Fire Giant Cloak can be found in Eitri. There, you will need to look around for a two-story house that can be found at the edge of the town. After locating the building, go inside it and pull away the giant stone and position it under the ladder. Then, go up and look around for a chest. The Fire Giant Cloak will be inside this chest.

Fire Giant Braces

To get the Braces of the Fire Giant armor set, make your way to Uldar. From there, make your way inside a cave. Its entrance can be found on the north wall and you’ll be able to spot it thanks to the lava.

As you’re going inside the cave, take the first right and then slide through the rocks that you’ll find on your left. Make your way inside the cave until you climb up the stairs. Right after you go up, look to your left and you’ll see a red jar. Shoot it with an arrow to make it explode and clear the rubble wall. Then, keep on going forward until you come across the chest that has the Fire Giant Braces inside it.

Fire Giant Trousers

The Fire Giant Trousers can be found inside a chest in Horfinn-nama. Once you’re at the location, head inside the cave and pull away the giant rock that will be blocking your way. Keep on going forward until you see a key icon. You’ll have to dive into the pool to get the key from the bottom.

Then, from the bottom, you’ll need to swim to the other side and then make your way further until you find the chest containing the Fire Giant Trousers.

Dwarven Blacksmith Armor Set

The Dwarven Blacksmith is another armor in our AC Valhalla Dawn of Ragnarok best armors guide that you can find through loot chests scattered across the map. Just like the armor mentioned above, you’ll need to spend a lot of time and visit different locations to get your hands on the entire set. The Dwarven Blacksmith armor set is also a part of the Bear gear collection.

There are two perks attached to this armor set. The first one gets unlocked when you have two pieces of the set equipped and it increases your armor when you stun an enemy. As for the second one, it becomes available when you have the entire set of the Dwarven Blacksmith armor equipped, and it increases your overall speed.

How To Get The Dwarven Blacksmith Armor Set

As mentioned in our AC Valhalla Dawn of Ragnarok best armors guide before, you can find the pieces of the Dwarven Blacksmith armor set inside chests that can be found at different locations.

Dwarven Blacksmith Chest Armor

The Chest Armor can be found in Vangrinn at Hreidmar’s Groft. The chest is located underground, so you will first need to break the ice covering the tunnel’s entrance.

Once inside, keep on going forward while avoiding the lava, or walking over it by using your ability, until you come across another ice barrier. After you break it and continue going further, you’ll come across the chest containing the Chest Armor. However, to open it, you’ll first need a key.

From the chest’s location, look left and you’ll see a World Knot on which you can use the Power of Jotunheim. Teleport yourself and keep on going further down the corridor, until you see another World Knot above you. After you get above the ice platform, pick up the key and then jump down to the chest. You can now unlock the chest and pick up the Dwarven Blacksmith Chest Armor from it.

Dwarven Blacksmith Helmet

For the Helmet, you’ll need to go to Fornama, also located in Vangrinn. This one is also underground, and you will first need to locate a giant hole and then jump down from it.

Now, an annoying thing about this underground area is that there are a lot of rats wandering around. And to make things worse, they are trapped as they have no other place to go, so they will come and attack you whenever they get the chance.

Since you will need to reach the other side of the ice wall to get the Helmet, you will first need to move the storage unit and place it at the right location. As the rats will keep on hurting you and will prevent you from moving the storage unit, you will first need to go to the very end of the room and them towards your location.

Then, by using your Power of Jotunheim ability, you can teleport yourself near the storage unit and then move it. You will need to keep on repeating this method until you have successfully placed the storage unit right next to the gap in the ice wall.

Once done, jump over the ice wall and pick up the Dwarven Blacksmith Helmet from the chest.

Dwarven Blacksmith Cloak

The Dwarven Blacksmith Cloak can be found inside a chest that is in the Gull-horp mansion. This mansion can be found in Svaladal. The best part is that unlike the other pieces of this armor set, the Cloak is fairly easy to get.

Once you reach the location, find a medium-size building next to a large one. Then, make your way inside and look for a giant stone. You will need to move this stone and align it below the hanging ladder. Afterward, climb the ladder and you will find containing the Cloak right in front of you.

Dwarven Blacksmith Bracers

The Bracers can be found at Fidsthorp in Savaladal. This one is a little difficult to get as you first need to complete a few tasks before you can get the chest containing the bracers.

When you reach Fidsthorp, you will need to climb the second floor of the two-story stone building you’ll find. When you make your way inside, you will need to rotate the light beam and position it towards the orb on the balcony.

Then, go to the balcony and you will then see another orb on the right side. You will need to keep on shooting the metal plates on the sides of the orb until it rotates to the left and sends the light beam above the door of the building.

You will then be able to enter the lower portion of the building, where you’ll find the chest containing the Dwarven Blacksmith Bracers in front of you.

Dwarven Blacksmith Breeches

Now, coming down to the fifth and final piece of the Dwarven Blacksmith Armor Set. In our AC Valhalla Dawn of Ragnarok best armors guide, the Breeches is the most difficult piece to acquire as it is a time-consuming process. To get it, you will first need to go South of Vangrinn where you’ll find Feigardr, a prison fortress. This is a location that you’ll visit while completing the main storyline as well. So you can either wait for that to happen or go to it before it if you’re in a hurry.

Once you reach the fortress, make your way inside from the main entrance that is covered in ice. Then, go up the stairs and use your Power of Jotunheim on the World Knot that you’ll see through the locked door. You will need to grab all the keys from this room as you will need them later on.

Once done, go back to the main entrance from the locked door that you teleported through and go down right. Keep on going forward and unlock the last cell that will be on your right. Then, break the wooden structure and enter the hidden area to pick up the Emerald Key.

Get back to the main entrance and take a left this time and climb up the first ladder that you see. Unlock the third cell on the left side and pick up the red jar from the front of its door to throw it and destroy the wall. Then, through a gap, you’ll see a World Knot. Teleport to the other side by using it, and you’ll see the chest containing the Dwarven Blacksmith Breeches inside this room.

Odin All-Father Armor Set

The final and third armor in our AC Valhalla Dawn of Ragnarok best armors guide is the Odin All-Father. If you’re someone who likes to take their enemies down from a great distance, then the Odin All-Father armor set is for you. There are not many armor sets in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla that focus on ranged-based builds. However, through the Ragnarok expansion, the developers have added a pretty fantastic armor set that gives you a great advantage in ranged combat.

Thanks to the perks attached to the Odin-All Father armor set, you will get Adrenaline if you managed to land a headshot or hit the weak point of your enemy. Furthermore, its second perk increases the headshot damage. While regular enemies can get killed with a single headshot, there exist some enemies that won’t go down before taking a few shots to the head. But with this armor equipped, you will be able to take them down instantly as well.

The Odin All-Father armor set has a total of five components, which include Trousers, Cloak, Bracers, Tunic, and Eyepatch. When it comes to its design, Ubisoft did a great job of justifying its looks. The gold touch on the armor gives it a royal look, something that fits Odin.

How To Get Odin All-Father Armor Set

Getting the Odin-All Father armor set in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is a pretty straightforward task; you can just buy it from Kara’s Arena in Svaladal. The exact location of this arena can be seen in the image below, and you can travel to it any time in the game.

Kara’s Arena

The Kara’s Arena features a bunch of trials that you can complete. Upon completing these trials, you will get rewarded with the in-game currency. The higher the difficulty of trial, the more money you’ll receive in return. Once you have gathered a total of 6000 units, you will be able to purchase the entire Odin All-Father set from the arena. Each piece of the set costs 1200 units.

This marks the end of our AC Valhalla Dawn of Ragnarok best armors. We hope that you’ll be able to select the right armor from our guide.
