Elden Ring: Morning Star [Stats & Location]

As Elden Ring features a plethora of weapons, one particular weapon that has caught the eyes of many players in the early game is the Morning Star due to its ability to deal with serious damage and inflict blood loss. It is also one of my favorite early-game weapons.

The Morning Star Stats

The Morning Star is a top choice for a quality build in Elden Ring’s early game. With accessible requirements and scaling, players can wield it soon after obtaining it without additional rune farming or specific stat leveling.

For me, its substantial early-game damage and the ability to inflict blood loss were noteworthy. The weapon’s damage scales directly with strength, making it advantageous to equip the Starscourge Heirloom for extra damage once obtained.

Location Of the Morning Star

The Morning Star is extremely easy to obtain as the chest that contains it is out in the open. I found it extremely quickly, so do not worry. The chest can be found in the broken carriage in the Weeping Peninsula, a bit south of Limgrave, as you can see in the image below.

With so many weapons to choose from in Elden Ring, if hammers are your preferred weapon of choice, then the Morning Star can be considered one of the best early-game weapons to choose from. Here, I have listed the stats of the Morning Star, a short summary, and its location.

Aside from hammers, one other thing that can help out new players is the poison mists spell, which can allow you to straight-up cheese some bosses. Be sure to give it a read in case you are interested, but that’s all from me.
