God Of War Ragnarok: All Crafting Materials & Locations

God of War Ragnarok has a complex crafting system that involves a lot of different items. There is a vast array of crafting materials scattered all over the Nine Realms, and it can be hard to know how to obtain a specific material. These can be acquired through different methods.

Here is a list of all the materials in God of War Ragnarok in alphabetical order:

1. Asgardian Ingot
   • Rare material for late-game armor upgrades.
   • Obtainable from Red Chests, Valkyries, Muspelheim Trials, and the Wishing Well.

     

2. Beast Bones
   • Common resource used for armor crafting and upgrades.
   • Acquired by defeating Beast-class creatures and occasionally from Red or Legendary chests.
3. Beast Scraps
   • Used for upgrading Kratos’ and Atreus’ gear.

   • Acquired by completing the “Animal Instincts” side quest.
7. Divine Ashes
   • Late-game resource used for gear upgrades.
   • Found in the Muspelheim Realm during the Crucible Trials.
8. Dragon Claw
   • Rare material for crafting Dragon Scale Armor.
   • Obtained from dragons and drakes in Vanaheim and the Gravel Belly boss in Alfheim.

     

9. Dragon Tooth
   • Common crafting material for Dragon Scale Armor.
   • Dropped by Drekis and used for armor crafting and upgrades.

    • Common resource found early in the game.

    • Rare material used for crafting the Healing Harmony grip.
    • Obtained by closing the Hel Tears scattered throughout the Nine Realms.
13. Forged Iron
    • Common crafting material for early-game gear.

    • Obtained during late-game favors.

36. Tempered Remnants
    • Found in the wreckage of Asgard after completing the game.
    • Used to upgrade gear.
37. Whispering Slab
    • Crafting material from favor rewards, used for gear upgrades.
38. Ýdalir Timber
    • Crafting material for Atreus’ gear.
    • Found in red chests and mob drops while playing as Atreus.
