• Furthermore, the weapon’s ranged capabilities are also bolstered by increasing its damage range and bullet velocity while making the recoil more manageable.
• Regardless, as is often the case with SMGs, this weapon will not excel at range. For that, I recommend trying out some of the best snipers in the game such as the Signal 50.

Best PDSW 528 Loadout Perks

Perks are an important selection in any Call of Duty loadout because of the impactful abilities and buffs they bring to the table. As such, I have selected the best perks that play nicely into the playstyle that I have curated for the PDSW 528.

Secondary: X12

The X12, seen in the screenshot above, is a light semi-automatic pistol with noticeably better stats than the default P980. It stores 17 rounds, making it a good choice in situations where your primary runs out of ammo and you need to engage more opponents.

Like most semi auto pistols in Modern Warfare 2, the X12 can take down enemies in enemies within two to three shots at closer ranges. Moreover, the pistol has manageable recoil which makes it usable at increases distances as well. This makes it a very trusty sidearm to go along with your SMG.

Tactical: Flash

For the Tactical, I recommend the classic Flash grenade for the best entry frag potential. The grenade blinds and deafens any targets within a small radius, leaving them vulnerable to counterattack.

When used correctly, the Flash makes it easier to push into rooms and crowded corridors. Players can even throw the grenade while firing, making it easier to gain the upper hand without letting up the pressure.

Lethal: Semtex

The Semtex, as seen in the image, is an alternative to the Frag grenade. Instead of a cookable fuse, the Semtex has a sticky surface. This means that it can stick to and go off against any surface, making it more reliable.

As such, having a Semtex gives you explosive firepower and can help take out targets from a distance.

Field Upgrade: Dead Silence

The Dead Silence Field Upgrade, shown in the image above, silences players’ footsteps for a short duration and resets the duration after every kill.

This can help players sneak up on enemies and pull off some great flanks. The quick recharge times also means that the upgrade will be available when needed.

Field Upgrade 2: Battle Rage

Players can unlock a second Field Upgrade slot upon reaching level 45.

For this slot, my selection is the Battle Rage perk, which injects your player with a stimulant that regenerates health quickly, resists tactical equipment, and constantly refreshes Tactical Sprint.

The perk perfectly complements the PDSW 528’s playstyle by enabling rapid traversal and quick successive engagements with resistance to slowdowns like Flashes and Stuns.
