M4 & Lachmann Sub

Hence, utilizing the M4 is the best bet for all the MW2 newbies out there. On top of that, if you have unlocked the Lachmann Sub, then you can use that as your secondary weapon. The M4 and Lachmann Sub pairing will cover all ranges. Hence it will help you deal with enemies at close range as well as long range.
Before we get into the whole loadout setup, here is a quick look at the Attachments. You can opt for M4 and Lachmann Sub in Modern Warfare 2.
M4 Class Setup
- Muzzle: Dark KX30
- Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
- Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
- Magazine: 45-Round Mag
- Optic: Cronen Mini Red Dot
Lachmann Sub Class Setup
- Muzzle: Fox-202 Flash Hider
- Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
- Underbarrel: Phase-3 Grip
- Barrel: FTAC M-Sub 12″
- Rear Grip: LM Cronus Grip
Of course, you can make a few changes here and there while setting up your M4 and Lachmann Sub. However, these builds should be good enough for you to deal with the enemies in the COD Multiplayer lobbies. With that said, let’s now list down the full loadout for you, which contains the best choice of Lethal, Tacticals, Perk Packages, and Field Upgrade.
- Primary Weapon: M4
- Secondary Weapon: Lachmann Sub
- Tactical: Flash Grenade
- Lethal: Frag Grenade
- Basic Perk 1: Double Time
- Basic Perk 2: Overkill
- Bonus Perk: Fast Hands
- Ultimate Perk: Quick Fix
The above picks are by far the easiest options for each category. Hence, it completes our first best loadout in Modern Warfare 2. The Overkill perk is necessary since you will be carrying two primary weapons. Other than that, the Double Time and Fast Hands perk will allow you to move quickly and change guns faster on the field. Flash and Frag Grenade can be switched out for other lethal and tactical depending on the game mode you’re playing.
SP-R 208 & PDSW 528

If you consider yourself a good shot in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, then you could also opt for the P890 pistol instead of the PDSW 528 SMG. The SP-R is a considerably fast Sniper, and it is really easy to use, even at close range. However, we would recommend going for an SMG to pair with it if in case you run into a bunch of enemies at once.
With that said, here are the Best Class Setup for the SP-R 208 and the PDSW 528 in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.
SP-R 208 Class Setup
- Laser: Corio LAZ-44 V3
- Optic: VLK 4.0 / SP-X 80 6.6X
- Stock: ZRL T70 PAD Extension
- Bolt: FSS ST87 Bolt
- Ammunition: 7.62 High Velocity
PDSW 528 Class Setup
- Muzzle: Singuard MKV
- Barrel: 9.5″ Duke-30
- Optic: Cronen Mini Red Dot
- Stock: Cob Stock
- Rear Grip: Bruen Q900 Grip
Depending on your playstyle, you can make some relevant changes to the above attachments. For example, some people like to use snipers who are quick and fast in Multiplayer mode. At the same time, some like to camp up in the corners and take their time before taking shots. Therefore, you can make changes as per your style of play.
Here’s a quick look at the full Loadout:
- Primary Weapon: SP-R 208
- Secondary Weapon: PDSW 528
- Tactical: Stun Grenade
- Lethal: Semtex Grenade
- Basic Perk 1: Overkill
- Basic Perk 2: Battle Hardened
- Bonus Perk: Focus
- Ultimate Perk: High Alert
Whenever you’re rocking a sniper class in your loadout, your perks are bound to change a little. For example, it is helpful to equip the Focus Perk because it reduces your flinch and extends your breath-holding time while sniping. Other than that, Battle Hardened will allow you to have a higher resistance against Tactical equipment. High Alert will make your player more aware of their surroundings. Hence, your enemy’s chances of blindsiding you will be minimal.
TAQ-56 & P890

The TAQ-56 has the potential to kill enemies in 4 shots to the chest, which is really fast. Especially if you do not miss many of your shots, accompanying it, we have the P890 pistol, and we decided to drop the Overkill perk and focus more on mobility with a more easy-to-carry weapon. The TAQ-56 is good enough at all ranges; hence you don’t really need an SMG with it.
On top of that, the P890 is also a pretty decent gun and is capable of downing enemies in just a couple of shots. With that said, let us now focus on some of the Best Attachments for TAQ-56 and P890 in Call of Duty MW2.
TAQ-56 Class Setup
- Muzzle: Komodo Heavy
- Barrel: 14.5″ Tundra Pro Barrel
- Underbarrel: FTAC Tiger Grip
- Stock: TV Cardinal Stock
- Rear Grip: Demo Cleanshot Grip
P890 Class Setup
- Muzzle: Forge DX90-F
- Barrel: XRK Tacops Barrel
- Trigger Action: Bruen Express
- Magazine: 10-Round Mag
- Rear Grip: FJX DVF60 Grip
The P890 Class is universal; you can use this with many other weapons as well. Although, if you prefer using optics, then you can let go of the Rear Grip. As for the TAC-56, the attachments are pretty good, but you can still make a few changes depending on your mood. For example, the Rear Grip or the Barrel can be dropped for an Optic if you’re not fond of the TAC-56 iron sight.
Now let us have a quick look at the full Loadout:
- Primary Weapon: TAQ-56
- Secondary Weapon: P890
- Tactical: Stun Grenade
- Lethal: Drill Charge
- Basic Perk 1: Double Time
- Basic Perk 2: Battle Hardened
- Bonus Perk: Fast Hands
- Ultimate Perk: Survivor
The perk package is considered one of the best in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. Although, you could switch out Survivor and use Quick Fix instead. On top of that, make certain that you use a lot of Stun Grenades, especially in Hard Point and Domination Game Modes in Modern Warfare 2. The TAQ-56 and P890 classes are by far one of the best things you could go for currently in MW2.
RAAL MG & Combat Knife

The RAAL MG is deemed one of the best LMGs in the game. It is extremely fun to use due to its very high TTK (Time To Kill). RAAL can hold up to 75 bullets in its mag. Hence, you won’t need to worry about the bullets. Although, it is advisable to find a safe spot whenever you decide to reload the gun.
On the other hand, the Combat Knife is extremely fun, as well as toxic, in Modern Warfare 2 right now. You may have been a victim of it, but it’s high time that you try it out yourself now.
Combat Knife will also allow you to cover the ground and rush toward your enemies speedily. Pair that up with Stuns, and you’d be annoying the hell out of your opponents. Nevertheless, here is a quick view of the Best Class Setup of RAAL MG.
RAAL MG Class Setup
- Muzzle: AP-390 Flash Hider
- Barrel: 21″ EXF Rhino Barrel
- Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
- Stock: FSS Riot Stock
- Rear Grip: Stip-40 Grip
First and foremost, you can only customize the cosmetics of the Combat Knife. Whereas on the other hand, the RAAL MG has a lot of different builds you can go for. In our above-mentioned Class Setup, we tried to keep damage and mobility as balanced as they could be. However, you can still let go of the Rear Grip and replace it with an Optic of your choice.
Here’s a quick look at the full Loadout:
- Primary Weapon: RAAL MG
- Secondary Weapon: Combat Knife
- Tactical: Stun Grenade
- Lethal: Semtex Grenade
- Basic Perk 1: Double Time
- Basic Perk 2: Tracker
- Bonus Perk: Fast Hands
- Ultimate Perk: Quick Fix
You can also substitute Fast Hands for Resupply, which will spawn you with extra Lethal equipment. However, we think that the Fast Hands is necessary since the player takes a few seconds too much to pull out the RAAL MG. Even if you’re pushing rooms with your LMG or the Combat Knife, the Stuns will come in extremely handy in both cases. Tracker Perk is also another great addition. With it, you can chase and follow your enemies while having your Knife equipped.
KASTOV-74U & MCPR 300

Although, as compared to some other loadouts, this one is a bit slower. Nonetheless, it offers some heavy power as well. The Kastov-74U is one of the favorite guns of many streamers and professional Call of Duty players. The MCPR 300 is a heavy sniper. Hence, it will be hard to use in CQC modes. In that case, you can switch it out and use the SP-R instead.
Now that we’ve briefly touched both weapons, let us now have a look at the Best Attachments you can get for KASTOV-74U and MCPR 300 in Call of Duty MW2.
KASTOV-74U Class Setup
- Muzzle: Dark KX30
- Barrel: BR209 Barrel
- Underbarrel: Agent Grip
- Stock: Markeev R7 Stock
- Rear Grip: True-Tac Grip
MCPR 300 Class Setup
- Barrel: 17.5″ Orca Barrel
- Laser: Corio LAZ-44 V3
- Rear Grip: Cronen Cheetah Grip
- Bolt: Cronen Smooth Bolt
- Stock: Cronen LW-88 Stock
The Kastov-74U is a very flexible gun to use. We decided to create a class without an optic since you will be running a Sniper Rifle as your secondary weapon. Hence, having two weapons with optics will only slow you down your ADS. Fortunately, the MCPR 300 comes with a built-in optic that allows you to focus on the other departments of the gun.
Here is the full Kastov-74U and MCPR-300 Loadout in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2:
- Primary Weapon: KASTOV-74U
- Secondary Weapon: MCPR-300
- Tactical: Flash Grenade
- Lethal: Semtex Grenade
- Basic Perk 1: Overkill
- Basic Perk 2: Double Time
- Bonus Perk: Fast Hands
- Ultimate Perk: Focus
First and foremost, the Double Time perk is important to have when you’re running this loadout in COD MW2. It will be extremely hard to move quickly around the map when you have the MCPR-300 equipped; hence, make sure to pull out Kastov-74U while sprinting. Flash Grenades will go well when you try advancing toward enemies. Lastly, the Focus Perk will make it easier to take Sniper shots from a distance.
Signal 50 & FSS Hurricane

The Signal 50 Sniper Rifle is one of the best in MW2. However, it unlocks after you reach Level 44 in your Military Rank. Hence, if you’re a beginner, then you won’t be able to run the Signal 50 loadout just yet. Consequently, you could go for some other Sniper Rifle.
The FSS Hurricane isn’t a common pick among the SMGs. However, it is still a great option to go for. The base weapon can hold up to 50-rounds which instantly eliminates the requirement to attach an additional magazine. Not only that, the FSS Hurricane is perfect for CQC as well as mid-range combat. Signal 50 will cover you for your long-range shot, and when you combine both weapons, you will be set to face every enemy at all kinds of ranges in MW2.
Signal 50 Class Setup
- Laser: Corio LAZ-44 V3
- Optic: Forge TAC Delta 4
- Stock: SO Inline Stock
- Rear Grip: SA Finesse Grip
FSS Hurricane Class Setup
- Muzzle: Fox-202 Flash Hider
- Barrel: FSS-X7 Barrel
- Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
- Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
- Optic: Cronen Mini Red Dot
We have only added 4 attachments for the Signal 50 Class Setup because the additional attachment came with a penalty. Secondly, you can easily play Multiplayer lobbies without utilizing all slots. Nonetheless, having an extra slot means that you can pick an attachment of your choice as well if you want to. As for the FSS Hurricane, we tried going for high ADS and Low Recoil Setup.
Here’s a quick look at the full Loadout:
- Primary Weapon: Signal 50
- Secondary Weapon: FSS Hurricane
- Tactical: Smoke Grenade
- Lethal: Proximity Mine
- Basic Perk 1: Overkill
- Basic Perk 2: Double Time
- Bonus Perk: Focus
- Ultimate Perk: Survivor
There you have it, our complete loadout setup that compliments the Signal 50 and FSS Hurricane perfectly. The Smoke Grenade is great for stealth, as you may need it in certain game modes. Without the Overkill perk, you won’t be able to pair up these weapons. Secondly, Double Time will let you move faster for a longer period despite having two primary weapons.
As we have mentioned time and time again, the Focus Perk is a must whenever you’re using a Sniper in your loadout. Other than that, Survivor will make self-revive possible whenever you get downed at a vantage point while sniping.
Expedite 12 & STB 556

The shotguns are pretty decent in Modern Warfare 2 and are viable options for the multiplayer mode. They may not be that practical in game modes like the Ground War or Invasion, but if you’re playing Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed, or Domination, then going for a Shotgun isn’t too bad. Nonetheless, among some of the great options, we decided to go for the Expedite 12 since it’s one of the most used shotguns in Modern Warfare 2.
Alongside, we have paired an underrated gun. The STB 556 is not talked about as much as it should be. The Assault Rifle is a great weapon to use in fast-paced game modes thanks to its versatility. It packs a nice punch and is also great for mid to short-range. Thus, in our opinion, the STB 556 is a great choice to pair up with Expedite 12.
With that said, here are some Best Attachments for Expedite 12 and STB 556 in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.
Expedite 12 Class Setup
- Muzzle: Bryson Improved Choke
- Underbarrel: VX Pineapple
- Stock: FSS Frame Stock
- Bolt: Expedite L-Bolt
- Rear Grip: Schlager Fang Grip
STB 556 Class Setup
- Muzzle: Dark KX30
- Underbarrel: Phase-3 Drop
- Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
- Optic: Cronen Mini Red Dot
- Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity
There isn’t anything more that you can do with the Expedite 12. Although, the Rear Grip is expendable. You can either get rid of it altogether or equip another grip. Apart from that, the other attachments are used by almost every Expedite 12 player. As for the STB 556, you can go with many different variations; we made a build that perfectly complements the Expedite 12. If you’re not fond of the Iron Sight, then you can change the Optic with something which is more suitable for long-range combat.
Let us now briefly review the full Shotgun Loadout in COD Modern Warfare 2:
- Primary Weapon: Expedite 12
- Secondary Weapon: STB 556
- Tactical: Stim
- Lethal: Drill Charge
- Basic Perk 1: Overkill
- Basic Perk 2: Battle Hardened
- Bonus Perk: Hardline
- Ultimate Perk: Quick Fix
That is our take on what a perfect shotgun loadout in Call of Duty MW2 should look like. For Tactical equipment, we have decided to go for the Stim, because with the shotgun at hand, you’d constantly find yourself on top of the enemies. Hence, the stim will help you out by letting you regenerate quickly in sticky situations. Hardline is a great option to choose as your Bonus Perk since you will get many kills in CQC maps with the Expedite 12.
VAZNEV-9K & P890

It is similar to the Kastov-74U, which we covered earlier. With this loadout, your movement will be your forte. Link these weapons with some crazy mobility across the map, and you’ll have your opponents sweating in Modern Warfare 2. We have paired the P890 pistol with the SMG, although you can also go for another primary weapon. However, for us, the Vaznev-9K is sufficient to cover you completely throughout a match.
With that said, let us now review the Best Class Setup for the Vaznev-9K. We have already covered P890’s class earlier in our guide.
Vaznev-9K Class Setup
- Muzzle: FTAC Castle Comp
- Barrel: KAS-1 381MM
- Laser: Schlager PEQ Box IV
- Stock: Otrezat Stock
- Rear Grip: DEMO-X2 Grip
The P890 Class Setup was covered in the TAQ-56 & P890 loadout. Hence, we only covered the Vaznev-9K class in this section. We went with the iron sight because, for many other players and us, it has a clean look. However, if you want, you can also go for an Optic attachment by getting rid of the Barrel or the Rear Grip.
Here’s a quick look at the full Loadout:
- Primary Weapon: VAZNEV-9K
- Secondary Weapon: P890
- Tactical: Stun Grenade
- Lethal: C4
- Basic Perk 1: Double Time
- Basic Perk 2: Scavanger
- Bonus Perk: Fast Hands
- Ultimate Perk: Quick Fix
Stuns are always great to have when you’re using an aggressive loadout. Hence, the tactical equipment pick should be an easy choice. Additionally, the Scavenger perk is also a must-need in this loadout. There’s a high chance that you might run out of bullets while using the Vaznev-9K; hence, having the Scavenger perk will cover that up for you. Lastly, the Double Time and Fast Hands perk will increase your mobility and reaction speed even more.
KASTOV 762 & VEL 46

Once you create the best class for Kastov 762, the recoil will become much more controllable. As for your secondary primary weapon, we have picked the VEL 46 SMG. The VEL 46 is one of the best guns for players who like to move around the map and push enemies. Pairing up these two weapons makes the perfect blend of firepower and speed. Thus, we consider this setup as one of the Best Loadouts in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.
Now that we’re aware of what these weapons are capable of. Let us now dive into more detail and list down the Best Attachments for Kastov 762 and Vel 46.
Kastov 762 Class Setup
- Muzzle: Kastovia DX90
- Barrel: IG-K30 406MM
- Underbarrel: DEMO IMP-44 Grip
- Magazine: 40-Round Mag
- Rear Grip: IVANOV ST-70 Grip
VEL 46 Class Setup
- Barrel: LACH-DX 203MM
- Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
- Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
- Stock: DEMO RXT Stock
- Rear Grip: ZLR Combat Grip
These were our Best Class Setups for Kastov 762 and VEL 46. If you want, you could tweak a few things. For instance, if you make your shots count, then you could get rid of the 40-Round Mag and attach either an Optic or a Stock to Kastov 762. VEL 46 is meant to cover close-range battles. Hence, you can drop the optic on it and focus on our build, which prioritizes stability and ADS.
Here is the full Kastov 762 Loadout:
- Primary Weapon: Kastov 762
- Secondary Weapon: VEL 46
- Tactical: Flash Grenade
- Lethal: Semtex Grenade
- Basic Perk 1: Overkill
- Basic Perk 2: Double Time
- Bonus Perk: Fast Hands
- Ultimate Perk: Birdseye
For the Kastov 762 loadout build, we went for some of the best options in every category. The loadout has the potential to be one of your favorites or the one you fall back on during bad gaming days. Flash Grenade can be replaced by the Stuns. Double Time and Fast Hands perks are necessary as they will take your movement off the charts.
Lastly, the Birdseye perk will grant you a better analysis of the minimap, especially when a friendly UAV is on. If that doesn’t seem like your thing, then you could also go for Quick Fix or Survivor as your Ultimate Perk.
FENNEC 45 & Riot Shield

The Fennec 45 has one of the faster TTK among the other SMGs in COD MW2. However, the gun needs a few attachments to reach its full potential. Regardless of that, the gun has great mobility and handling stats. Thus, allowing the player to focus on their movement without any holdback fully. With the Fennec 45, we have paired the Riot Shield.
The Riot Shield is indestructible and bullet-proof. So if you have it in your loadout, you will have quick access to a defense mechanism in COD Modern Warfare 2. If you have the shield unequipped, it will be placed on your back, hence keeping you safe from the rear. So with the Fennec 45 and Riot Shield, you will be able to be aggressive and defensive at the same time. We would also like to mention that the loadout is best suited for Quick Play maps.
Since there is no attachments option for the Riot Shield, we have only covered the Class Setup for Fennec 45 in COD MW2.
Fennec 45 Class Setup
- Muzzle: FOX-202 Flash Hider
- Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
- Underbarrel: FSS Sharkfin 90
- Optic: Cronen Mini Red Dot
- Stock: Agile Assault-7 Stock
The Riot Shield can be equipped as it is; there are no attachments you can apply to it in Modern Warfare 2. Whereas for the Fennec 45, there are tons of different options you can go for. We would advise you to test the Fennec class setup we have mentioned above. If it doesn’t work out for you, then you can make a few changes to it as per your liking.
Now let’s look at the Full Loadout Setup
- Primary Weapon: Fennec 45
- Secondary Weapon: Riot Shield
- Tactical: Stun Grenade
- Lethal: Drill Charge
- Basic Perk 1: Overkill
- Basic Perk 2: Double Time
- Bonus Perk: Hardline
- Ultimate Perk: High Alert
Long-range encounters will be a bit tough for you with the Fennec 45. Hence, having the Riot Shield and Stuns will allow you to bounce away from these fights. Moving on, we picked the Drill Charge, which can go through walls and explode; it can be used to cause panic when enemies are inside a specific room.
Having Hardline will allow you to earn the Killstreaks much faster. Apart from that, having the High Alert perk will make it easier for you to react and pull your Riot Shield out.
Summary
That was our take on the Best Call of Duty MW2 Loadouts. We did our best to include all kinds of weapons in our list so that you can fall back to any loadout, depending on your mood. You can make use of the Best Snipers and equip our loadouts to take on Ground War or Invasion Mode.
On the other hand, you can go for the basic loadouts based on the Best Assault Rifles and LMGs. Lastly, we also included a few loadouts inspired by the Best SMGs and Shotguns in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.
