The color-blind mode lets you choose between three different options. Each option allows the player to better distinguish between game elements for the optimal experience. The update has also optimized the gameplay for players using a controller. These optimizations include browsing unavailable spells, multiselection of characters, and a few changes to the group hide option when using a controller.
Previously, patch #3 added MacOS support, as well as a lot of improvements, but the game introduced many new bugs and glitches, which were then tackled via a series of hotfixes. It is unlikely that patch #4 will suffer from the same fate, as it appears Larian Studios has gone all out with this patch.
