Guerilla Games has released a new patch version 1.25 for its title Horizon Forbidden West. The patch fixes several major bugs that occurred during main quests, subquests, world activities, machines, and weapons. Furthermore, the patch also fixes issues with the game’s UI, performance, and stability. The developers posted the patch notes on their official subreddit. The patch notes are detailed below.
The Defense Drone’s laser VFX visibility issues are fixed that occurred during a main quest. Furthermore, the transmitter intractability bug is removed which left players unable to interact with it during the “Find the Transmitter” objective. An issue that caused Seyka to become idle is resolved. A defense drone that could be looted twice due to a glitch is now rectified.
Furthermore, several problems with Machines and Weapons usability are removed. Players were unable to equip weapons after a Clamberjaw attack due to a bug, which has now been resolved. The Acid resistance boost is lowered by 10% to match other element resistances. A glitch that allowed players to use Thunderdive without a cooldown is also removed.
Horizon Forbidden West was released in 2022 for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Recently, the developers released a new DLC titled Burning Shores for the entry exclusively for PlayStation 5. The DLC can be accessed after completing the base game.
