According to the patch notes, the player can now customize the appearance of hirelings while recruiting them. The UI has also been improved, adding map markers to all the characters that want to talk to you back at the camp. Combat rounds are now displayed under a separate heading under the Combat Log.

The color-blind mode lets you choose between three different options. Each option allows the player to better distinguish between game elements for the optimal experience. The update has also optimized the gameplay for players using a controller. These optimizations include browsing unavailable spells, multiselection of characters, and a few changes to the group hide option when using a controller.
Previously, patch #3 added MacOS support, as well as a lot of improvements, but the game introduced many new bugs and glitches, which were then tackled via a series of hotfixes. It is unlikely that patch #4 will suffer from the same fate, as it appears Larian Studios has gone all out with this patch.
Baldur’s Gate 3 was released on August 3 on PC. The game was later released on PlayStation 5 on September 6. The DnD-inspired RPG’s arrival on Xbox Series consoles has been planned to be released later in 2023. eXputer rated the game 5/5, terming it one of the best RPGs of all time.
