Unofficial Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PC Port Allegedly Released; Requires 256 GB Storage

The complete game is seemingly available on PC now.

Story Highlights

  • An unofficial version of Spider-Man 2 PC port has allegedly already been released via torrent.
  • The release includes the full game and patches with shaders and collisions but requires a whopping 256 GB.
  • The devs have yet to address the situation. The port is based on the leaked PC dev build from the Insomniac Games leak.

An unofficial version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PC port had been in the works after the incomplete PC dev build was leaked when Insomniac Games was breached. While past rumors suggested that its development had ceased, @PC_Focus_ on Twitter reports that a torrent containing the complete game and patches with shaders and collision has been uploaded to a torrent server (thanks, Dexerto).

In other words, you can now play the full version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PC using the unofficial port. There is just one caveat with this version, however. It will require a staggering 256 GB of storage to download. The port is said to contain all the texture files and shaders. But a few graphical glitches are still to be expected. It is a major feat, considering an official port for the sequel has yet to be announced by Insomniac Games.

However, we do not condone downloading the illegal Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 port on torrent, so no links or methods to download will be mentioned. Sony will also likely not take the move lightly and may strike down on the devs soon in the near future.
