  • NBA 2K24 Kobe Bryant Edition’s game size on Xbox Series X|S has been revealed to be over 160 GB.
  • For comparison, NBA 2K23 was released at 152 GB on Xbox Series X|S, so the latest iteration’s size is not a huge surprise.

NBA 2K24 Kobe Bryant Edition’s game size for Xbox Series X|S has recently been revealed, and it is a whopping 161 GB (thanks, VirginSpyros). It doesn’t come as a big surprise, though, as the previous installment was released with an initial size of 152 GB. Keep in mind that the initial size excludes day-one patches and future updates, so there is a chance that NBA 2K24 will hit the 200 GB mark by the end of this year.

On PC, the game requires you to have 110 GB of free space, which is equal to what the previous iteration demanded on the same platform. However, it seems like that’s not the case with its Xbox Series counterpart, which sees a 10 GB jump in NBA 2K24. The annual releases of NBA 2K games have always demanded massive storage, and the upcoming game carries that tradition.

NBA 2K24 is shaping up to be a hefty game, featuring exciting gameplay full of NBA superstars. Not only that, but it seems like we might even see Kai Cenat, a popular Twitch streamer, make an appearance in the game. It also allows players to be more creative with custom builds as players can choose from an array of Gatorade gym body upgrades.
