In a new Xbox Wire article, Microsoft has revealed that it is working directly with Pocketpair to improve Palworld on Xbox consoles. Through its news website, the company said it is providing the developer with all kinds of help including dedicated servers and assistance in optimizing the title for the platform. In addition, Xbox is also lending its engineering resources to Pocketpair for GPU and memory optimization support.
As per the article, Palworld peaked at 3 million daily active users on the platform, making it the most-played title on Xbox right now. Takuro Mizobe, CEO of Pocketpair spoke to Xbox Wire about the game’s success, saying it’s just the beginning and the title will only improve in early access because of the feedback the developer is getting from millions of fans.
The response from fans has been tremendous and it’s incredible to see the millions of players around the world enjoying Palworld. This is just the beginning for us and Palworld, and the feedback we’re gathering while in Game Preview will allow us to continue to improve the experience for Pal Tamers across all platforms.”
Palworld is still in early access on both PC and Xbox with no release date yet known for its 1.0 release. As per Xbox Wire, Pocketpair is going to highly refine the title during this stage with cross-play and other fan-requested features being on top of the priority list. Considering how the survival game has sold 12 million copies already on Steam during early access, it has immense potential.
