Palworld developer Pocketpair’s community manager revealed in a tweet that he had been receiving death threats, alongside threats to the company following the massive success of the game. Palworld recently crossed 1.3 million concurrent players on Steam, becoming the most-played game on the platform just a few days after its launch.

It wasn’t just the community manager who reported receiving death threats. Takuro Mizobe, Pocketpair’s representative, revealed in a tweet that the company had been receiving slanderous comments and death threats against their artists. As translated by Google, Takuro Mizobe also requested everyone refrain from slandering the artists involved in Palworld’s development.
