Doom is flat-out one of the pioneers of the first-person shooter genre, having shaped so many FPS games following its initial inception. The franchise just turned 30 this December, so in celebration of the momentous occasion, Nvidia has announced a brand-new Doom-themed giveaway, comprising a GeForce RTX 4090 GPU, whose retail worth is approximated to be somewhere around $1,800.

Fortunately enough, the rules for entering are kept basic, and you don’t even have to make any purchases to kick things off here. Simply follow the instructions provided in the following tweet and that’s about it. The winner will be selected on December 18, so you have until then to register and mark yourself as an eligible entrant. Nvidia has dedicated this web page to announcing the winner when the time comes.

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 is nothing short of one beast of a GPU, especially for PC builds with heavy-duty use cases, such as high-level video processing, and gaming. Slap a Doom theme on and it’s quite literally the best gift out there for fans of the franchise. Nvidia says that the ARV (Approximate Retail Value) of the graphics card is $1,789. For reference, the MSRP for the normal variant of the card is $1,599.
