The Diablo 4 race to 100 has already started. Since the release of the game, the players were already preparing themselves to participate in the competitive battle of climbing the top ladder of Immortals. The competition is steep as it takes numerous efforts and plenty of time to keep up with the race and compete with top players worldwide.
What Is Diablo 4 Race To 100?
After the release of Diablo 4 beta access, Blizzard Entertainment made the announcement that something interesting will be introduced for diehard fans, and once the full access was released, the developers again made an official announcement about the Race to 100.
According to Blizzard’s forum rules, the first 1,000 players to reach 100 level on Hardcore solo mode will earn the “Tempered Champion” title in the game and will get their battle tag engraved into an in-game statue of Lilith.
As interesting as it sounds, the race is not that easy, as players must get to 100 levels at extreme difficulty. The player can not even die a single time before reaching max level or they have to start all over again from the beginning.
Although millions of players are trying for the race only the first 1,000 players will get their tags immortalized in the Sanctuary world. A few days have already passed since the announcement. Things are getting heated up as more and more players are securing their ranks on the leaderboard and leaving fewer spots for the rest of the players, making the competition even harder.
Unfortunately, Blizzard Entertainment has not launched any official leaderboard to keep track of the players and see the live progress of the players reaching max level. If you’re interested in watching the rankings and progress, you can either watch the live streams of players competing in the race or visit D4Race.com, which is giving live updates of players reaching victory.
Race To 100 Winners
It is hard to believe that some hardcore fans have already completed the challenge and have beaten the game in such a short time. The famous Twitch streamer Rob2628 conquered the race in softcore mode with a robust barbarian build. Rob’s expedition took around 54 hours of continuous effort to complete.
If we mention the Hardcore mode, another Twitch streamer cArn_ has secured the ranking to be the first on the leaderboard, meaning he will solidify his tag at the very top of Lilith’s statue. Carn is also famous in the Starcraft and Dota 2 communities due to his exceptional gaming skills. In Hardcore mode, Wudijo cannot be ignored as he is also a dedicated Diablo player who secured the second rank with a Rogue build.
Although the top positions on the leaderboard are already secured, the competitive battle is not over yet as there are still plenty of slots left to be filled all the way up to the top 1000 ranks. To keep track of the competing community, you can follow the updates by going through the #Diablo4Hardcore hashtag thread on Twitter.
Also, most of the players taking part in the race are streaming their live progress on various streaming platforms, so you can filter the participants through the Diablo 4 Twitch directory.
