Tears of the Kingdom’s Stable Locations will make you explore the whole surface map since the stables are scattered around the entire kingdom of Hyrule. Some stables are located in between cold and unforgiving mountains, whereas others are found in the hot and burning deserts of Gerudo.
- Tears of the Kingdom’s Stables consists of fourteen main stables and two mini-stables, and the locations of these stables are scattered around the whole surface map.

Tears of the Kingdom Stables Locations
There are 16 stables located in the entire kingdom, whereas 14 are true stables and 2 are mini stables. Mini stables do not offer all of the services that actual stables do. You can only store horses at the mini stables, whereas there are many other activities that players come across in true stables.
Finding stables can be made easier if you have unlocked the whole map through Skyview Towers.

1. Snowfield Stable
The Snowfield Stable is located in the northmost part of the map and is present on the side of the Hebra Mountains. This is one of those stables that will help your adventure through the Wind Temple and Rito Village.
- The stable is approachable from both Pikida Stonegrove Skyview Tower and Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower.
- Make sure to wear warm clothes or cook up dishes that help link endure the freezing cold, as the stable is located near the mountains.
2. Tabantha Bridge Stable
Just below the Snowfield Stable, the Tabantha Bridge Stable can be found located between the Hyrule Ridge and the Tabantha Frontier. Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower is your best bet for reaching the stable as quickly as possible, as you can use the paraglider to get here.
3. New Serenne Stable
There are many stables located around the Hyrule Castle, and one of those stables is the New Serenne Stable which is present on the left side of the castle, as shown in the image above. Both Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower and Lookout Landing Skyview Tower are present near the stable.
- There is also a Geoglyph that you can find near this stable in Tears of the Kingdom.
4. Wetland Stable
The Wetland Stable can be found on the right side of the Hyrule Castle, and it is present near the Lanaryu Wetlands. You can glide your way here from either the Lookout Landing Skyview Tower or the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower.
5. Woodland Stable
Just north of the Wetland Stable, you will come across the Woodland Stable, which will act as one of the main stables in the Eldin Canyon area or when you decide to adventure to the Gorons. Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower is the nearest skyview tower that you can use to get here.
6. Foothill Stable
The Foothill Stable is present just north of the Lanaryu region in Tears of the Kingdom, and it is the other stable located near the Eldin Canyon. There are two Skyview towers near this table which include the Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower and the Upland Zorana Skyview Tower.
7. South Akkala Stable
The Akkala region has a total of two stables, and as the name suggests, the South Akkala Stable is present on the south side of the region, which also puts it closer to the Eldin Canyon. Akkala Highlands are also located near the stable. The Upland Zorana Skyview Tower and Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower can be used to get here.
8. East Akkala Stable
The East Akkala Stable is located on the northeast side of the Akkala region and is very close to Deep Akkala additionally. There is only a single skyview tower located near this stable, and that is the Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower.
9. Riverside Stable
Coming back to the south side of the map and near the Hyrule Castle, the Riverside Stable can be found on the south of the Wetland Stable and the Hyrule Field. The stable connects to three different areas, including the Hyrule Field, Lanaryu Wetlands, and the West Necluda. Hyrule Field Skyview Tower, Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower, and the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower are located near the stable.
10. Dueling Peaks Stable
On the right side of the Dueling Peaks, you’ll come across the Dueling Peaks Stable. You can either climb the Dueling Peaks to get here or just make your way through the river between the peaks. Additionally, it is easier to get here once you unlock the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower in Tears of the Kingdom.
11. Lakeside Stable
The Lakeside Stable is located on the southmost side of the map and is near the Faron Grasslands region. It rains a lot in this region, so you should paraglide your way here using a skyview tower. The Rabella Wetlands Skyview Tower is the most optimal method of getting to the Lakeside Stable.
12. Highland Stable
There is another stable located in the Farron Grasslands region, and it is present just left of the Lakeside Stable additionally. Similar to the Lakeside Stable, it also rains here, so you should paraglide to the Highland Stable from the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower. You can also use Tulin’s ability to boost your paragliding speed.
13. Outskirt Stable
Moving to the southwest side of the map, the first main stable that can be found is the Outskirt Stable, located between the Hyrule Field and the Gerudo Region. You can use the Hyrule Field Skyview Tower to swiftly get to this stable in Tears of the Kingdom.
14. Gerudo Canyon Stable
Located on the most southwest side of the map is the Gerudo Canyon Stable, which is the only main stable that you’ll find in the whole Gerudo region of Tears of the Kingdom. The Gerudo Region is extremely hot, so make sure you come prepared with the right clothes and dishes. You can also unlock the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower first to make it easier to reach the stable.
15. Lookout Landing Mini Stable
There are only two mini-stables in Tears of the Kingdom, and players can only store their horses at these stables. The first mini-stable can be found in Lookout Landing, which is the first hub area in the game, and you actually get here after dropping down from the Great Sky Islands. You’ll have to fix up the mini-stable before it can be used.
16. Gerudo Canyon Pass Mini Stable
The second mini-stable is actually located right next to the Outskirt Stable, and it is available to use as soon as you reach the location shown in the image above.
Uses Of Stables
The main stables offer a plethora of uses in Tears of the Kingdom.
- You can board your horses and access them from any other stable in Hyrule.
- The stables can also be used to rest for a night, but you’ll have to pay a certain amount of fee.
- Sleeping at the stables will also restore Link’s health.
- A new currency has been introduced in Tears of the Kingdom, known as the Pony Points.
- Pony Points can be earned by using the various services that the stables offer, and that includes both registering horses and staying a night in the stable.
- These Pony Points can be redeemed for special rewards at the stables, and the rewards also include the Towing Harness, which can be used to create a horse wagon in Tears of the Kingdom.
- You will also come across various NPC side quests in these stables, and there is always a cooking pot here that you can utilize to make dishes.
The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is one of the best releases of 2023, if not the best. It improves upon every mechanic introduced in its predecessor and makes the gameplay even more creative. Yes! the shrines make a return where you can experiment around with the new mechanics. Various items in the game, including the Hylian Shield, also reference older Zelda titles. Additionally, the shields can still be used to surf!
