The first Hogwarts Legacy Nintendo Switch gameplay has leaked online. Twitter user Tal Helfgott gained access to the game and purchased it before the official release. He clarified that the full title could not be played because it required downloading. The player called it Switch’s “another impossible port” while praising the game. The image of the box was also shared as proof, but the tweet has been struck down by Warner Bros since then.

A few mirrors and YouTube videos detailing the leak are still online, with one Imgur upload showcasing a few moments of the Hogwarts Legacy Switch gameplay. The gameplay was recorded externally since the entry did not allow it to be captured directly on the portable. The first few images of the Nintendo Switch port also appeared online a couple of weeks ago, which cemented the high-quality graphics and textures.

Hogwarts Legacy has basked in rave reviews on all consoles since launch, but its upcoming launch on the Switch has some users worried. The handheld has started to show its age in various major launches for some time. As a result, the Switch port was deemed to be in murky waters by the fans. However, the eye-catching visuals with smooth gameplay in the leak have already alleviated the concerns of many Switch players.

I’ve always felt that the fact they didn’t rush it out with the other versions was a positive sign that they were willing to put in the time to get it to work with the Switch’s limitations,” said Reddit user NotTakenGreatName.
