Persona Series Sales Have Crossed Over 22 Million Copies Worldwide

The Persona series has crossed over 22 million copies, hitting arguably the most commemorable milestone in its prosperous history. The tidbit was confirmed by the developer Atlus over on Twitter to celebrate the occasion with fans. The total sales now stand at 22.6 million units sold, and the devs have released a new trailer for its latest entry, Persona 3 Reload to mark the event in the calendars of the gaming industry.

The devs have thanked the supporters and asked them to enjoy the new trailer. The trailer for Persona 3 Reload has also been well-received by both the new gamers and veterans alike, with comments congratulating the devs. As a result, Persona 3 Reload became the series’ biggest launch on Steam by garnering 43,000 concurrent players soon after release.

It also did not take long for the game to roll over a million copies during its first launch week to become the fastest-selling game in Atlus history. Overall, the whole franchise has been on a roll in the last few years. The Persona 5 series has also sold like hotcakes recently, securing over 9 million sales alone as of June 2023.
