Sonic Frontiers Super Sonic Boss Fight And Intro Cutscene Leaked

Sonic Frontiers has had many leaks as it nears release on November 8, 2022.

Sonic is not a character unknown to many, being extremely popular among not only children worldwide, but adults as well. He is SEGA‘s mascot, debuting in 1991 through his titular game Sonic the Hedgehog.

Well received by the public, Sonic propelled SEGA and its console, the SEGA Genesis to great heights and made the console a key player in the the16-bit era. The game would go on to become one of the best-selling video games of all time and spawn a massive media franchise.

Ever since then there have been various entries in the Sonic series of games, that have delighted fans for years. Later on, Sonic games would undergo a decline in quality that left fans yearning for Sonic to return to his glory days. In recent years, there has surely been a steady improvement in Sonic games, and fans are excited for Sonic Frontiers which is to be the next title.

Sonic Frontiers has actually had a plethora of leaks, and now another one joins the long list of leaked gameplay and cutscenes, this time the intro cutscene along with the first Super Sonic boss fight have leaked.

Major Takeaways:

  • The intro cutscene of Sonic Frontiers has leaked.
  • The first Super Sonic boss fight has also leaked.

Both of these have been leaked by Contex on Twitter.

The leaked cutscene and Super Sonic boss fight have since been taken down but if you wish to watch them, you can head on over to Sonic City.

Although the videos have been taken down, the screen grabs yet remain, and through those, we get a look at Super Sonic and the boss Titan that has been shown in previous trailers.

This is the first time we have gotten a look at Super Sonic in Sonic Frontiers. For those unaware, Super Sonic is a transformation that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series of games and is the Super State of Sonic that is achieved by drawing out the power of the seven Chaos Emeralds.

This leak follows in the wake of another leak that took place a few days ago in which another cutscene and boss fight were leaked.

All these frequent leaks are the result of Sonic Frontiers having a lot of showings and playable demos and industry events such as GamesCom and the Tokyo Game Show, among others.

After the demos at GamesCom however, Sega has been directly forbidding players from recording footage of the game, due to some players being able to exploit a bug that let them get further than originally intended, however, this has not abated the problem and stopped players from leaking gameplay segments.

Sonic Frontiers had been rumored to be delayed but as of yet, it is set to release on time on November 8, 2022, for Windows, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/Xbox Series S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Sonic Frontiers sees Sonic exploring the many areas of the areas of Starfall Islands after being separated from Miles, Tails, and Amy, after falling through a wormhole.

What has fans most excited is the open-world design of Starfall Islands, a first for a Sonic game. In that way, the writers of Sonic Frontiers compared it to Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild, another beloved franchise of old. How Sonic Frontiers shapes up, only time will tell, but we are hopeful and impatiently await its release.
