Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been recently rated in Singapore by Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), revealing a slew of dark gameplay aspects. The title boasts a mature rating because of all the included gory elements. In other words, we will relive the Suicide Squad uncensored in all its glory.

The rating notes that the primary enemies will be “mainly robots and aliens,” with a member of Suicide Squad fending off the otherworldly threat in place of heroes. The city will feature different areas, each one featuring a boss. Defeating the boss will help the villains progress through the story.

The new IMDA rating for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League highlighting violent elements.

WB Games is seemingly pushing the Rocksteady team to include all the violent tendencies of the renowned group of villains in the new game. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will feature city environments that are “strewn with corpses,” and the cityscape is adorned by the “missing limbs” of the unfortunate corpses.

And in the usual Suicide Squad fashion, the game is going to incorporate dark humor in seemingly grotesque moments. As per IMDA, the new entry will feature scenes “implying a character’s finger being severed and subsequent jokes made about the severed finger.

However, some other gameplay moments are even darker and not for the faint of heart. The game is going to feature strong depictions of violence rarely seen uncensored in video games.

For instance, it will include vile and heart-wrenching moments, like “a character with a blade impaled in the neck, another’s heart being ripped out, and a man being decapitated with blood spurting out of the neck stump.” A gory panorama of the stomach-churning display will be a usual occurrence in the upcoming rendition.

Moreover, the alluring entry will also feature coarse language filled with the usual swear words. Regardless, that should be the least of our concerns, considering all the other visual grotesque aspects that will be included in the game.

However, side objectives will include the Suicide Squad rescuing trapped civilians, which seems out of place for the feared supervillains.

Considering the realistic reimagining of Suicide Squad, the title has been stamped with a mature 18+ rating to ensure only the appropriate audience plays it. Since seemingly everything will go haywire when a group of supervillains is tasked with stopping an alien invasion.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is an upcoming action-adventure title by Rocksteady Games, and particulars about it have been vague until now. However, the fifth main installment in the Batman: Arkham series has been all the hype in the community, and the new rating has added more details for the anticipated entry.

The entry has also been rumored to slate towards the live-service approach, with a recent leak suggesting the addition of a battle pass. The title is also set to make an appearance, showcasing 15-minute footage in the upcoming PlayStation’s State of Play showcase event later today.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is slated to arrive on next-gen consoles and PC only, skipping the last-gen entirely. It will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, and PC on May 26th, 2023.
