Starfield Could Let You Decorate Your Ship With Pictures Taken From The Photo Mode

A good feature to cherish some moments.

Story Highlights

  • It seems like Starfield has a feature that allows pictures taken with the photo mode to be displayed inside your ship.
  • Although a minor feature, it is a good quality-of-life addition that can make your in-game photo sessions even more fun
  • Other games with this feature include TOEM, Monster Hunter Rise, and even Tears of the Kingdom has something similar.

Twitter user Xbox News recently posted an image that shows pictures taken with the photo mode displayed within the ship. While three images were displayed inside the ship, the limit to how many you can lay out is still unknown. This small quality-of-life feature has received positive feedback from the fans, with many looking forward to their in-game photo sessions.

The original source of this image is yet unknown, and considering the amount of gameplay that has been revealed so far, it could be from anywhere. And since Xbox News is reputable in the Xbox community, it is unlikely for the image to be fake. But neither Bethesda nor Xbox has officially revealed the feature, so there might be more to it than we think.

Finally a practical in game application for a photo mode. Other than making dashboard backgrounds out of your pics there just wasn’t any point,” says Twitter user IronZombie.

It has been well received by the fans so far, who are now even more excited about the photo mode. One user said, “As a virtual photographer that’s a really neat way to customize your ship.” The traditional photo mode allows fans to capture memories that can then be shared with people online. This minor feature goes one step beyond and can be found in some other games like Monster Hunter Rise, TOEM, and even Tears of the Kingdom.
