The Mighty Thor Janer Foster has recently made her way into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She has also been introduced in Marvel Snap as a free giveaway card to be taken as compensation for the Nexus Event. Now, according to us, the Marvel Snap Jane Foster is one of the best cards that, if used right, can change the tide of the battle.
- Jane Foster The Mighty Thor is one of the most overpowered and useful cards in Marvel Snap.
- Two deck setups complement Jane Foster and help her show all the possible abilities of each card. These are the Giants Of Asgard and Negative Jane.
- The cards in the Giants of Asgard Deck include Sunspot, Wasp, Armor, Green Goblin, Ironheart, Lockjaw, Thor, Jane Foster, Giganto, Magneto, Odin, and The Infinaut.
- The average power output of this deck is 5.8, and the average card cost is 3.7.
- On the other hand, the cards in the Negative Jane deck include Adam Warlock, Psylocke, Iron Heart, Morph, Mystique, Thor, Mister Negative, Devil Dinosaur, Iron Man, Jane Foster, Taskmaster, and Arnim Zola.
- The average power output of this deck is 1.3, and the average card cost is 3.8.
Jane Foster The Mighty Thor In Marvel Snap
Now, even without her abilities, Jane is a great card, as her power level is 8. However, the cost to play her is 5. Furthermore, it is her ability that begs interest as she can draw all cards that cost 0 from your deck.
Also, due to her ability and power level, she is a beast of a card that the developers seemingly gifted to the players. I would also like to inform you that Jane Foster synergizes well with Thor, Mr. Negative, Mystique, Iron Man, and Devil Dinasour.
Here’s a quick overview of the top decks you can use for Jane Foster in Marvel Snap:
RANK | DECK NAME | DECK CARDS | BEST FOR |
---|---|---|---|
1 | Giants Of Asgard | Wasp Sunspot Armor Green Goblin Iron Heart Lock Jaw Thor Jane Foster Giganto Magneto Odin The Infinaut | High Raw Power |
2 | Negative Jane | Adam Warlock Psylocke Iron Heart Morph Mystique Thor Mister Negative Devil Dinosaur Iron Man Jane Foster Taskmaster Arim Zola | Team Synergy |
1. Giants Of Asgard Deck
- Why I Chose This: In my experience, this is easily the premium deck to cheap out high-Power cards using Mjolnir to gain a strong advantage in the mid-game turns.
The overall average card cost is 3.7, while the average power output of the deck is 5.8. Now, as you can clearly make out the deck is very well balanced as the average power to average cost ratio is very good.
Furthermore, let us list the team members of the deck as well as each of their abilities:
- Wasp: None
- Sunspot: At the end of each turn, gain +1 Power for each unspent Energy.
- Armor: Ongoing: Cards at this location can’t be destroyed.
- Green Goblin: On Reveal: Your opponent gains control of this.
- Iron Heart: On Reveal: Give 3 other friendly cards +2 Power.
- Lock Jaw: When you play a card here, swap it with a card in your deck.
- Thor: On Reveal: Shuffle Mjolnir into your deck.
- Jane Foster: On Reveal: Draw all cards that Cost 0 from your deck.
- Giganto: You can only play this at the left location.
- Magneto: On Reveal: Move all opposing 3 and 4-Cost cards to this location.
- Odin: On Reveal: Activate the On Reveal abilities of your other cards at this location.
- The Infinaut: If you played a card last turn, you can’t play this.
- Versatile and reliable.
- High raw Power.
- Customizable.
- Lockjaw is unpredictable.
- Can be countered with Shang Chi.
The Deck’s Strategy
Now, the main thinking behind this deck is that the player will be making use of Thor a lot as you will use Odin and Lockjaw in pairs to make use of Thor’s Mjolnir as much as possible. Furthermore, I have also included some heavy hitters to give you that extra strength. The heavy hitters I made use of are Giganto, Magneto, and The Infinaut.
Also, Jane’s role is to draw out the Mjolnir that has been shuffled in the deck. In my opinion, This is very important to make the most out of the strategy that I am trying to make use of.
2. Negative Jane
- Why I Chose This: Mister Negative and Jane Foster are arguably the strongest card combo in Marvel Snap, which is why a deck centered around these 2 can be devastating.
Onwards to the next deck, which I highly recommend as it is one of the best decks in the game and is mainly focused around Jane and Mr. Negative, hence the name. The deck’s average card cost is 3.8, while the average power of the card in the deck is 1.3. Now, at first sight, you might believe that the deck is stupid because of the ratings I just mentioned, but here is the ace of your deck, which is Mr. Negative.
- Adam Warlock: At the end of each turn, if you are winning this location, draw a card.
- Psylocke: On Reveal: Next turn, you get +1 Energy.
- Iron Heart: On Reveal: Give 3 other friendly cards +2 Power.
- Morph: On Reveal: Become a copy of a random card in your opponent’s hand.
- Mystique: On Reveal: If the last card you played has an Ongoing ability, this card gains it.
- Thor: On Reveal: Shuffle Mjolnir into your deck.
- Mister Negative: On Reveal: Swap the Power and Cost of all cards in your deck.
- Devil Dinosaur: Ongoing: +2 Power for each card in your hand.
- Iron Man: Ongoing: Your total Power is doubled at this location.
- Jane Foster: On Reveal: Draw all cards that Cost 0 from your deck.
- Taskmaster: On Reveal: Set this card’s Power equal to the Power of the last card you played.
- Arnim Zola: On Reveal: Destroy a random friendly card here. Add copies of it to the other locations.
- Huge Potential
- High win rate.
- Incredible synergy.
- Several winning strategies
- Too reliant on Mister Negative.
- Bad draws could lose you the game.
The Deck’s Strategy
This is one of the best decks in the game, which makes a good combo out of Mr. Negative and Jane Foster. Now, the basic concept behind this deck is to make use of Mr. Negative to swap power with the cost of all cards in your deck, essentially making all zero-power cards into zero-cost cards, which Jane can now pull.
- Also, in case you are not able to draw Mr. Negative, then you have Thor as a backup card.
- Things you need to know is that if you play Mr. Negative before having Jane in hand will render the deck pretty much useless as she will 8 to play.
The ideal situation would be to start off with Thor and Psylocke or maybe Mr. Negative and then use Jane to essentially be able to use all of your trap cards, through which you will be able to finish the game with no problem.
My Take On Jane Foster Decks
Jane is definitely a versatile card in Snap, and with the right combo during a match, you can usually always guarantee victory. In my opinion, the worst thing about her decks is randomness since cards like Lockjaw can pull out undesirable cards at undesirable moments. However, with the right cards in your hand, I think Jane is pretty much unstoppable.
With this, I bring my guide on Jane Foster to an end where I thoroughly list two decks that will help you make use of Jane to the fullest and essentially exploit the game. However, if you feel like I missed something, then please let us know through the comment section down below.
